Yesterday my office, in conjunction with ATF HQ , FBI and Dea, took one more criminal off the streets of Washington, D.C. D.C. rapper Trevor Wright, also known as “Taliban Glizzy,” was sentenced yesterday to 219 months in prison, for his role in a string of jewelry story thefts across the Eastern Seaboard that stole over $3.2 million from multiple businesses. Today, Curtis Lear was sentenced to 18 months in prison for recklessly driving his SUV across the National Mall on June 21, 2025. Video shows Lear behind the wheel of a Jeep tearing up the grass and accelerating uncontrollably. Hundreds of people were around the mall at the time and he drove so close to two individuals that they feared for their lives. When approached by Capitol Police, Lear stated "it's just a joke."
