New are the so called 'unsupported' amendments👀: - Lending and Borrowing on XRP, essentially Loans on chain. - DynamicMPTs, similar to Dynamic NFTs. these amendments are introduced, but not completed in development and not available to be voted on yet. in XRP 3.0 there are also a list of normal fix amendments, among them: fix for the TokenEscrow amendment. fix for PriceOracles. fix for MPTs. fix for clawback tokens in AMMs. the changes list is long and i want to thank everyone who contributed to this release. Hard work and effort went in to make the XRP Ledger a robust, reliable and innovative rail for on chain finance ❤️

EUROP / RLUSD - 124 events (most active) RLUSD / BBRL ( Braza Bank Brazilian Real Stablecoin) - 67 events USDC / RLUSD - 46 events Interestingly, RLUSD appears in majority if auto-bridging event. Clearly the most actively traded currency against other currencies where XRP gets used as the bridge. > Total of ~15,000 XRP was used to provide liquidity for better exchange rates. > 92% of all trades are Token/XRP pairs > 8% of all trades are Token/Token pairs out of all Token/Token trades, 0.8% were auto-bridged. For the BBRL events, those amounts were small trades but still enough to trigger auto bridging. The XRPL DEX is so efficient that you can trade tiny amounts without friction. XRP loves tokenization - long tail of assets.

I like David's view on Ripples strategy. Institutional adoption today is the pathway for retail adoption in the future. To me the XRP DEX was always the public ground where Ripples institutional effort meet retail builders effort in the middle. For this low risk boring DeFi is needed!

The XRP network handled a big wave of transactions today, fees are cents and consistent 3-4 sec settlement time. This is financial infrastructure that scales. Sustained over 140 TPS and blocks with up to 987 transactions! Here's how the XRP DEX was at the center of it: > You see below the XRP/RLUSD pair on the DEX. Basically all activity comes from this pair and bots working with it. What are they doing? - You have bots that flood the orderbook with offers on both side, buy/sell, market makers. They create constantly offers and by using the same OfferSequence to cancel the previous ones and adjust for pricing. - Ghost Wall: they use a spoofing botnet as well to trick others liquidity depth exists, with offers that have no liquidity behind them, to buy tokens for cheaper if people don't account for that (slippage) or arb bots to fire into the void. This leads to the next one. - High transaction failure is intended, thats what the ghost wall is looking to do. Cross currency payments fail because the path is dry - duhh - because its spoofed ghost orders without liquidity. Thats 90% reason for all tx failures. They fail by design, it's exactly how the network tells you it will handle such cases and the XRPL enforced always this behavior with barely funded offers.

David on Smart Contracts on the XRP Ledger. 1) We don't need full general purpose SC. We don't need to be the best SC platform, just a little bit programmability via SC. 2) It boosts native features. If you can't connect native features together they are not as useful. 3) Safety. Small steps, no full blown programmability but measured steps towards this goal gives us the best real world feedback. 4) Because how limited SCs - XLS101 is in design, it will allow for large group of amendments to be not protocol changes. That's a huge gain in protocol security for all actors using the XRPL. Including Banks and normal users alike.
