This is beyond distasteful! A Ganpati pandal themed around the Air India crash is not creative. It’s deeply disrespectful to the victims, their families, and the entire aviation community. #AvGeek

My Air India flight took off from Chandigarh with all window shades shut except the ones at exit rows. Apparently they are to be shut for all commercial flights departing from/arriving at defence airports in India. Not a flight safety expert but this did not seem safe. #AvGeek

When passengers start throwing water, shouting and cornering IndiGo staff, we cross a line no delay can justify. These are humans doing their best despite operational challenges. They deserve basic respect, even in moments of frustration. #AvGeek

What you see in this video is what’s next for the Jet Airways B777-300ER acquired by Ace Aviation. They’ll fly out of India to an overseas MRO for conversion to freighters. Glad to see them fly again rather than be scrapped altogether

A historic departure. Air India's 777-300ER VT-ALL lifts off from Nagpur today after six years on the ground. Great to see it restored by the teams at Air India and AI Engineering Services Ltd. The aircraft will re-enter commerical service soon. For now, it's out for a test flight. #AvGeek

If you haven't said goodbye to this ex-Jet Airways B777-300ER, 2-TJEM (formerly VT-JEM), which departed Mumbai today for Tel Aviv for freighter conversion, here's your final chance. A farewell so special, it was captured from Mumbai ATC tower. I have goosebumps. You will too.

Love the sleek white livery of the 2 x Government of India B777-300ER. The bold Bharat and भारत make it stand out from afar. Seen here is K7067 (ex - Air India VT-ALW) in Tianjin. Sister ship K7066 (ex - VT-ALV) wears the same livery. #AvGeek

I could watch the first 10 seconds of this video of the The Boeing Company #B777X over and over again! Folding the wingtips changes it's category from F to E. As most major airports worldwide are category E compliant only, it's important the wingtips fold. #AvGeek

When was the last time your arrival was caught on video? Mine was yesterday. My brother was waiting right by the runway in Mauritius as my Air India A321LR came in to land and captured the whole thing. Watch till the end to see the flight crew absolutely grease that landing.
