I watched Tabz ‘s interview on NTV and it left me deeply disturbed. No one whether from NRM or PLU should ever support or defend the torture of suspects. President Yoweri K Museveni himself has repeatedly warned against it: torture destroys good cases because courts cannot accept evidence obtained through coercion. These acts are a painful reminder of the very injustices the NRA fought against in the past. Dear NRM Party, it is still too early for us to forget the dark history we rose up to end. Let us uphold the rule of law and the dignity of every Ugandan. Torture weakens the nation, not strengthens it. 🙏🏿

Uganda cannot afford a bloated Parliament of over 500 MPs for a population of 45-50 million. The Old Man of the Clan, Andrew M. Mwenda, is right: we must drastically reduce the number of MPs ideally to one per district (around 146) plus targeted women representatives to slash wasteful expenditure on salaries, allowances, cars, and perks. This money should fund real priorities like healthcare (malaria kills dozens daily), roads, education, and security. A leaner Parliament of Uganda would improve deliberation, reduce patronage politics, and force MPs to focus on national issues rather than hyper-local demands. Oversized legislatures burden taxpayers without delivering proportional results. It’s time for serious reform, fiscal responsibility and better governance demand it. Thank you

𝐌𝐲 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐧. Justine Nameere Nsubuga , 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐏: Leadership in PLU is guided by its own structures and the direction of its Chairman Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba . Attacking the Secretary General, Hon. Daudi Kabanda , for executing the League’s official position is not the best approach. No individual MP should attempt to dictate how PLU runs its internal affairs or handles its endorsements. While it is understandable to feel gratitude for the support Hon. Anita Annet Among (AAA) gave you during your court case, political decisions at this level are guided by broader national interests, not personal loyalties. Hon. Nameere should tread carefully and avoid personalizing what is essentially an organizational decision by PLU. Politics demands wisdom, patience, and respect for institutions even when they change direction. Let’s allow PLU to operate freely as it aligns with the guidance from above.

This is the TikTok video that went viral, in which a resident accused National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) of colluding with Gen. Salim Saleh to demolish people’s houses in the Busabala wetland. Shortly afterwards, Gen. Saleh responded, clarifying that he does not own the hotel in question. He urged citizens to exercise their freedom of speech responsibly.
