Hey Jasmine… Black pilot here. I think you missed the plot. Then again, that’s becoming a pattern. I graduated from West Point. I went through Army flight school. I learned to fly the AH-64 Apache. I deployed to combat and flew 55 combat missions over Baghdad. Nobody handed me a cockpit because of my skin color. Nobody lowered the standards for me. Nobody looked at me and said, “Let’s check a diversity box.” That’s what people like you don’t seem to understand. Suggesting that Black pilots, Black engineers, Black doctors, or Black leaders need special preferences to succeed is not empowering, it’s insulting. I didn’t want a different standard. I wanted the same standard. And when you’re flying into combat, the American people don’t care what race the pilot is. They care whether the pilot is qualified. Merit isn’t racist. Excellence isn’t discriminatory. And reducing every achievement to skin color says far more about your worldview than it does about mine.

Let’s be brutally honest. If Democrats ever retake the United States Senate, the filibuster is gone anyway. Day one. No debate. No hesitation. They will pack the Supreme Court, erase every institutional guardrail, and give a Democrat president everything on their radical wish list to permanently reshape this country. And here’s the unforgivable part: while that threat is staring us in the face, President Trump’s America First agenda is dying right now in the United States Senate. Not because Democrats are stopping it, but because weak Republicans are. Republicans like John Cornyn refuse to fight. Refuse to use power. Refuse to do the very thing voters sent them to Washington to do: win. You don’t save the Republic by protecting Senate traditions while the other side burns them down. You save it by acting. By codifying the America First agenda into law now, while we still can. Texas didn’t send a Senator to Washington to manage decline. We sent one to stop it. If you won’t fight when it matters most, step aside. Texas is ready for leadership that will.

Every time this debate comes up, the playbook is the same. When they run out of arguments, they go to racism. They claim the police are racist. They claim that supporting law and order somehow means you are against Black Americans or Hispanic Americans. I believe the men and women of law enforcement and ICE get up every single day knowing they may have to risk their lives to protect American communities and enforce the laws of this country. Whoopi Goldberg’s comments reveal everything wrong with identity politics. I didn’t marry my wife because she’s white. She didn’t marry me because I’m Black. We got married because we share the same values, the same faith, and the same vision for raising a family. At no point did marrying a white woman make me less Black. At no point did marrying a Black man make my wife less white. What it made us was a family. The people obsessed with race can’t understand that most Americans don’t choose friends, spouses, or family based on skin color. We choose them based on character, values, and love. The civil rights movement wasn’t about putting race at the center of everything. It was about moving beyond it.

Voter ID is not controversial to the overwhelming majority of Americans. We’re constantly told that requiring a photo ID to vote somehow disenfranchises people of color. Yet the facts tell a different story. Polling consistently shows that 82% of Hispanic Americans and 76% of Black Americans support requiring identification to vote. That is not oppression. It is not racism. It is a common-sense standard that applies equally to every American citizen, regardless of race or background. This is not a civil rights issue. It’s NOT Jim Crow. It is Democrat political theater.

Austin Metcalf is dead. Let’s stop dancing around the obvious. Austin Metcalf received the death penalty. Karmelo Anthony received 35 years. One of them lives. One of them gets a gravestone. Save the faux outrage. The real victim in this case is NOT the convicted killer. The real victim is the young man who will never come home again and the family that will spend the rest of their lives grieving a loss that can never be undone. This was a track meet. A place for competition, teamwork, and sportsmanship. NOT violence. NOT murder. And spare us the racial narratives. Murder is wrong regardless of the race of the victim or the perpetrator. Any decent society should be able to agree on that. Austin Metcalf lost everything. His family got a life sentence of grief. And while some are busy turning this tragedy into a racial debate, the Metcalf family is looking at the empty chair at the dinner table and remembering who actually paid the highest price. Austin Metcalf got the death penalty. Never forget that.

It’s remarkable to hear Democrats accuse us of “cheating” in elections while simultaneously opposing the SAVE America Act, legislation designed to ensure that only U.S. citizens vote in federal elections. Every legal vote deserves to be protected, and that begins with ensuring that only eligible citizens cast ballots. That’s NOT voter suppression. That’s election integrity. The debate over the SAVE America Act ultimately comes down to a simple question: Should American elections be decided exclusively by American citizens? At least in the House of Representatives, we’ve answered that question with a resounding yes.

My father grew up in the segregated South. He had to walk around to the BACK of a restaurant just to order a sandwich because he was black. THAT was Jim Crow. Not showing a photo ID to vote. You need an ID to: • Board a plane • Cash a check • Buy alcohol • Enter federal buildings But suddenly showing an ID to vote is “racist”? Give me a break. This is not civil rights. This is political theater. The Democrat Party survives by manufacturing grievance because they have nothing else to run on. Comparing voter ID laws to segregation is not just dishonest, it is insulting to the people who actually lived through Jim Crow. Asking Americans to prove they are who they say they are when they cast their vote is called common sense.

7,000 ICE detainers. So New York just RELEASED them. Criminal aliens accused of 29 murders, 2,500 assaults, 300 robberies, 200 burglaries, and hundreds of sexual assaults RELEASED instead of turned over to federal immigration authorities. ENOUGH. Crossing our border illegally is not a golden ticket. It doesn’t give you the right to stay. It doesn’t guarantee you citizenship. And it sure as hell doesn’t give you the right to prey on the American people. Government exists to protect its own citizens first. Americans deserve leaders who enforce the law, NOT leftwing “leaders,” that release dangerous offenders back into our communities.

We’re celebrating 250 years of liberty, opportunity, sacrifice, and the greatest experiment in self-government the world has ever known. If you think America has nothing worth celebrating, compare the freedoms you enjoy here with those in places where dissent is actually punished. Every American should demand fair, secure elections. Without them, we don’t have a country. And now, Charlie Kirk, a father, a husband, a man of God, and a champion for freedom who helped deliver a historic victory for this nation, has been murdered.
