NewJeans was never a group built around musical talent. They weren't selected for that, but using shamanism. HK Comic Con showed what NewJeans looks like without HYBE's budget, production, camera work, and marketing machine behind them. They were a marketing product. A group that, would trade any tour for two more brand deals, because that's how their hype was maintained. That's also why having to share brand deals with another gg seemed to upset them more than not being able to perform. And why they pursued brand deals as the very first thing after trying to leave ADOR—which, in the end, is part of what led them to where they are now. There are way more talent people singing on 🚇 every day, what they don't have it is the silver spoon offered to newjeans and the BTS little sister marketing even before debut....

Bc everyone can see what MHJ+New👖 REALLY look like without HYBE's money, infrastructure, and access💁🏽‍♀️ Take away the marketing, the budget, the production, and the playlist payola, and what's left is below-average idols, a messy concept, poor execution, and "breath before I speak"
