I get what Issa is saying here because I’m like this. But I also think having friends of the same communication & attachment style is key. All of my Jersey friends are like this - independent with their own stuff going on but if any one of us needs something, we’re there no questions asked. This doesn’t work well with friends that want to talk/see you often. My mental and physical capacity is already stretched and it can be difficult trying to explain that
