A powerful DANA storm led to the rapid flooding of the mall’s underground parking garage, one of the largest in the region. The lower levels were filled with water within minutes, and many visitors who rushed down to save their cars were trapped in the rising flood. ‼️ The mall’s parking garage, with a capacity for 5,700 vehicles, currently holds an unknown number of potential victims. Local witnesses reported seeing dozens of people descending into the garage to retrieve their cars, unaware of the impending danger. 🆘 Today, on Sunday, emergency divers from UME (Unidad Militar de Emergencias) are carefully surveying the flooded area.
