what i love about Sophie’s character is through her we see a part of Bridgerton until now was in the background. this particular scene, where we see the brothers throwing shaving cream at each other is funny at first, but then we switch to Sophie POV, and the perspective changes.

no one can convince me this isn’t the exact moment Garrett Graham fell hopelessly, irrevocably in love. and the most incredible part of this scene is that you can actually watch how quickly his eyes soften and how he’s absolutely gone for her within seconds.

someone said she’s mature for her age while he’s more of a goofball, and THAT’S exactly why they match each other’s energy despite the age gap YOU KNOW WHAT? YES.

i’m so glad she had the chance to make it clear to the fandom that she won’t be as present, and certainly not by choice, cause she loves to be Penelope. Lady Whistledown deserved far more respect after all these years, definitely not to be replaced.
