This video alone proves, the sheer magnitude and brilliance of #EPIQLuxon cinema screen at Karpagam Grandplex by EPIQ Sometime spec-sheet doesn’t do full justice to a screen.. because this screen goes beyond and above the spec-sheet. This is not a TV, I repeat it’s not my OLED. Flawless presentation and magnificent #Prabhas

This video is an eye-opener. It exposes, quite brutally, what Bollywood needs to unlearn and what Malayalam cinema continues to get right. As Prithviraj Sukumaran rightly pointed out, Malayalam cinema thrives because the writer gets to occupy the centre of the creative process. The story isn’t treated as raw material to be repackaged around stars, market calculations or corporate expectations. And the result is visible in the remarkable consistency of films coming out of the industry. Bollywood, meanwhile, has allowed its corporate machinery to become larger than its creative instinct. Too often, decisions begin with packaging, positioning, marketability and star value, while the screenplay is expected to accommodate everything else. That’s the fundamental problem. Cinema is ultimately a writer’s medium before it becomes a star’s, producer’s or marketing department’s product. Malayalam cinema seems to understand this. Bollywood, somewhere along the way, forgot it. And perhaps the biggest reform Bollywood needs isn’t another new universe, franchise or remake. It simply needs to put the story back in charge.

The gorgeous and long #EPIQLuxon gallery at Karpagam Theatres at Coimbatore. The gates are heavy and firm, gallery is so long ensuring absolute no sound leakage. In second pic, press meet with QUBE founder Senthil Kumar | had a chance to communicate with him, astonishing technical knowledge and very down to earth person. If you have interest in cinema technology, he’s a walking encyclopaedia, got to learn a thing or few. EPIQ Qube Cinema
