With the eighth overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, the Brooklyn Nets select Egor Demin Draft Grade: C- Great playmaking feel, but a ‘point guard’ who can’t dribble or shoot is definitely an interesting strategy in 2025.

Koa Peat’s form is incredibly broken. The upper mechanics are unbelievably poor. New adjustments to his shot and it is going to need to be completely rebuilt

With the 16th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the OKC Thunder select Bennett Stirtz Draft Grade: A+++ I’ve called two prospects ‘supercomputer’ processors in this draft. Bennett Stirtz was one of them. Real false ceiling prospect. This is a HOME RUN PICK. Sam Presti has done it again. Great shotmaker, flawless creation talent, and the epitome of “dribble, pass and shoot” in this draft. Sam Presti and me the last few drafts 🤝

With the 29th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings select Alex Karaban. Draft Grade: A+ For the first time in a long time, the Kings went into a draft and identified players with winning characteristics and skills that make those around them better. Acuff's passing and transition influence should uplift everyone around him, but Karaban's connectivity, catch and shoot talent and defensive intelligence can be a nice 0.5 guy around Acuff going forward.

With the 52nd overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Atlanta Hawks select Henri Veesaar Draft Grade: A++++++ This is the STEAL of the draft. I couldn’t be happier to see his skillset land with a Quin Snyder led team. Elite inverted PnR value with Dyson/Jalen. Good stretch big with DHO hub value. Legit size for Atlanta too which they needed. This is fantastic

What transpired in the 4th quarter tonight was unlike anything I've ever seen. The Cavaliers were up by 22 and Kenny Atkinson took his foot completely off the gas. Cleveland conceded every single switch imaginable and then asked a 36-year old James Harden to defend Jalen Brunson one on one on an island with zero gap help. First of all, you can't tell me Dean Wade can't fight over/thru a Mikal Bridges or OG Anunoby ball screen. Secondly, if you're going to allow a switch, don't just completely vacate the middle of the floor and give Brunson room to both his left and right all the way to the rim. Genuinely most of these weren't even bad contests from James Harden, but for some reason the Cavs' coaching staff decided they wanted to ask him to defend one on one against the Knicks best player in the EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS. Of all times, this is the worst possible moment to have this big of a mental lapse (Brunson scored 6 times before a timeout was called!!!!!!). 1-4 flat just demolished the Cavs and it's all because the coach allowed it to.
