This is literally unseen footage of Iranian and Afghan immigrants attacking the Soviet embassy in Tehran after the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. As my brother wrote in an academic paper (which he won't share), Imam Khomeini called the Soviet Union the "Little Satan" after they invaded Afghanistan. As he stated in his writings, "The Soviet invasion of Afghanistan was enough for the Soviet Union to be categorized as an oppressor within Iranian Islamist discourse." Likewise, Israel and even sometimes Britain were called the "Little Satan" because of their evil actions. For the United States, however, Imam Khomeini famously said, "Every problem that exists is because of the United States." Fathi Shaqaqi also held similar (although slightly different) views on this matter. To really understand Israeli imperialism, one must understand American imperialism. As Shaqaqi said, "Israel and the US are one and the same thing, but Israel is the perfect manifestation (therefore an extension and thus the lesser version) of the Western [US] civilization [imperialism]." One interesting note is that when he compares defeating Americans to Spaniards killing a wild bull, he is indirectly stating that Iran’s asymmetrical warfare strategy works through attrition and constant harassment of enemy positions rather than direct symmetrical confrontation. This is a video of ISIS declaring the end of Sykes-Picot agreement and the breaking of the Iraqi-Syrian borders. One reason the deviant ideology of ISIS became popular among Sunnis across the globe was their false claim of "unifying the Ummah," and these propaganda videos effectively fooled Muslim youths. Although Daesh and other deviants went to the garbage bin of history, Iranian and allied Islamists successfully brought this Muslim dream into reality for the first time since WW1. Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Syria’s Assad and Lebanon united, erasing fake borders under forces of Islam guided by Sharia—the most glorious achievement Muslims achieved. This glory was not just the secret of our success against the enemies of Islam, as nationalism would prevent that, but also a major reason for Sunni hatred of Muslims during the Syrian war—the jealousy of united Muslims guided by Sharia. Something they lost since the Sultan Abdul Hamid era. This unification also makes the funeral of the martyred leader in Iraq highly significant.

There is a fantastic Iranian documentary about the Shia of Parachinar, where the Shia Pashtuns have their villages encircled by Takfiri animals. Except for this footage, the rest was so brutal that I couldn’t post it. A few interesting notes about their situation. The locals said Parachinar was safe and harmonious until the “Arab-Afghan jihad,” when the American agent Zia-ul-Haq settled the “jihadists” there because of its proximity to the Afghan border. Locals accepted these guests as a gesture of goodwill until years later the settlers and the regime started to encircle the villages and commit mass crimes. The same story of the Jewish settlers in Palestine. In the documentary, people said there has been a constant conflict for nearly 20 years, and throughout the documentary they dispatched men to the front lines day and night to defend their land. In one scene, enemy animals took over a Hussainiya, massacred people, and abused an 80-year-old woman, but the mujahideen later liberated those areas. In short, for 20 years their lives have been under constant threat, and most unfortunately they lack electricity or even the most basic state services in their villages. It’s pure poverty. In one of the scenes it showed how the enemy militias had anti-aircraft artillery (using it against other villages), and the possession of such heavy weaponry is a sign that at least some corrupt elements within the Pakistani regime or the Taliban are aiding these Takfiris. Lastly, as I said elsewhere, unlike the Shia of Bahrain and similar to the Shia of Lebanon and Iraq, the Shia of Pakistan are very well organized and somewhat powerful. They are oppressed, but they always fight back and defend themselves against the enemy militants. In one video the brothers, after their prayers, made a prayer for Ayatollah Khamenei and Iran, which shows that the Shia Pashtun brothers there are sympathetic to our global cause. P.S.: The brothers in this footage — their clothing, their weapons, and the mountainous environment — really remind me of the Houthis in Yemen. It’s a really similar vibe.

This is the best Hezbollah FPV operation so far, and there are a few notes to consider. First, this highly sophisticated and complex operation, executed with full accuracy, shows how Hezbollah operatives have been trained, learning and improving. Hitting a moving car directly in its windshield is not easy; it requires extensive training. Second, this operation (like one from weeks ago) is multi-stage. The first drone hits, then the second drone waiting nearby comes in to strike additional targets. In Ukraine, this tactic was used for "second strikes," where after an initial hit, the second drone waits nearby for soldiers to arrive to observe the damage or aid the wounded, then strikes—sometimes even a third or fourth. It is basically a drone ambush. Here, likewise, the first gathers intelligence then hits, the second targets the chosen objective, a third hits, and another records video. In short, the operation inflicts human and material casualties and, most importantly, achieves media warfare showing that "Hezbollah can strike anywhere anytime."

Two very interesting notes regarding this video and the IRGC military doctrine. First, unlike what is generally known, this current closure of the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian strategy is not unprecedented. Iran employed the same (successful) strategy during the Iran-Saddam War in the “Tanker Wars.” During that conflict, the Americans brought dozens of their highly sophisticated naval vessels to the Persian Gulf to protect Ba’athist ships, and Iran clashed with them numerous times. Secondly, and most interestingly, as I elaborated before, the IRGC is the only conventional state army that was born and structured in the image of an insurgency (asymmetrical warfare), and the last book chapter I am writing now is analyzing this phenomenon. As this video shows, IRGC fighters — because they couldn’t face the American Navy with a conventional army and didn’t have enough resources — had to take fishing boats, install machine guns and RPGs on them, get close to the enemy ships, and attack from close range. They were basically gluing different ideas together to create new weapons. It was precisely these fishing boats and this creativity that led to the current IRGC “speedboats” we see today. This new weaponry was a highly effective form of asymmetrical warfare because of its high mobility, exploiting the enemy’s weakness against highly mobile boats. In other posts, I also showed how the IRGC mounted drones on the back of Toyota Hilux trucks as another form of unconventional warfare, which is indeed unique among all other armies in the world. It is this type of creativity that gave us victory. As Shahid Imad Mughniyeh said, we are in a far weaker position compared to the enemy in the military sense, but “we have creativity, therefore we are victorious.”

As for the relationship between Arab tribal sheikhs and insurgencies, it's too much to explain everything here, but two things are significant. 👇 The Iraqi insurgency was almost exclusively recruited from tribes, and even the Battle of Fallujah, as many American journalists said, was a tribal uprising rather than Al Qaeda leadership. This relationship persisted until Al Qaeda clashed with the tribes for reasons that are too much to explain. However, tribes sometimes clashed with insurgencies. Many instances were in Iraq, but the most important one was in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, where ISIS massacred thousands because they didn't give bay'a. The Al-Shaitat massacres. Very interestingly, a person (almost certainly an IRGC officer) on Iranian state TV declared that, upon the start of a US ground operation against Iran, the Iranian armed forces are "100% ready" and trained "to take over the shores of Bahrain and the UAE." Such an Iranian operation to take over Bahraini and Emirati shores is technically possible, but I do not believe it would be sustainable. The same applies to a US operation against Iranian islands; both would require extensive logistics, making the stabilization stage unfeasible. Unless the domestic population in Bahrain welcomes it and provides logistics to the Iranian forces, which I believe is currently unlikely. If Iran actually does it, it will be crazy. If done, the offensive can be carried out using IRGC fast boats, and deploying hundreds of them at the same time would make it a realistic goal. InshaAllah.
