H.E. The Raila Odinga Amolo Foundation has always stood for something greater than himself - service, integrity, and the relentless pursuit of a better future for Kenya and Africa. While the outcome of the AU Commission Chairmanship bid is not what we had hoped for, it does not diminish the impact of his leadership or the respect he commands across the continent. This was not just about a position; it was about a vision for Africa’s unity, progress, and prosperity. Baba’s legacy continues to inspire, and his influence remains as powerful as ever. We hold our heads high, knowing that his contribution to Africa is far from over. The journey does not end here - it only takes a new direction. We remain steadfast in our loyalty, our belief, and our hope. Africa still needs Baba, and Kenya stands with him.

The planned controlled demolition has been successfully completed. A technical assessment is currently ongoing, and the findings will be shared with the public in due course. We urge members of the public to maintain the safety cordon and avoid the area until further notice.

We will not allow our party The ODM Party to be weakened from within. This party belongs to its members, and as leaders, we bear a responsibility to safeguard their interests and to act in the best interests of our country. If there are differing views or proposals, let them be presented openly and constructively, just as we openly declared our intention to form government. Leadership demands honesty, courage, and accountability; not concealment.

Coalitions are a reality of today’s politics and everyone has a right to air their views This is my proposal, and it is founded on an engagement that is already in place. Coalitions are a reality of today’s politics, not an abandonment of principle. I will not be lectured for choosing dialogue over theatrics. Every citizen and every political actor has a right to air their views, and no individual or group has a monopoly on political wisdom or patriotism.

I support President William Samoei Ruto, PhD's call for the death penalty for drug traffickers and peddlers. The narcotics trade continues to be a grave threat to society especially here at the Coast. That said, we must also wake up to the threat that other substances such as Muguka pose to our youth. I urge our legislators to consider legislative amendments to formally eliminate Muguka from the schedule of cash crops and classify it as a harmful drug. We need decisive national action to protect our families and future generations.

Following a constructive engagement with the Cabinet Secretary for Interior, KIPCHUMBA MURKOMEN, E.G.H, alongside my brother Waziri Hassan Ali Joho, EGH. and leaders from the Coast Parliamentary Group, we are clear on one message: the people of the Coast will be counted. For far too long, our region has been pushed to the sidelines of national decision-making, with our significance talked down on the basis of voting numbers. That era is coming to an end. As leaders of the Coast, we have made a deliberate decision to change this reality, and we appreciate the Ministry of Interior for responding positively to our call. Our people will get their national IDs. Birth registration and documentation will be prioritized. Our citizens will be recognized. When our people are documented, our numbers will matter. And when our numbers matter, the Coast will take its rightful place in shaping the future of this nation.
