Two days after a body of a young Tanzanian that was abducted was discovered floating headless in a river, about a week after her own commission mentioned contradicting figures about people her government killed during the October 2025 elections, Samia Saluhu openly and publicly called upon another head of state to join her in her violence against young people that are demanding for better leadership. How can one woman be this blood thirsty and sadistic? The murders and torture she has sanctioned are not enough yet? The endless tears of mothers are not enough! She has to be stopped.

Tanzania’s opposition leader Tundu Antiphas Lissu has spent over 300 days in prison. He’s charged with treason for addressing a rally to advocate for “No Reforms No Elections”. He has appeared in court only a handful of times and the trial had been halted for months. Today, Tanzanians filled the Court room to show love and solidarity chanting “Rais”(President). The opposition figure in Uganda Kifefe Kizza-Besigye has spent over 430 days in prison on the same charges. “The soldiers broke into the hotel room we are in through the balcony and after they opened the door for other soldiers to come in. They ordered us to kneel down, took our our phones, asked what we were doing and Jackline told them we were writing appointment letters. One of the soldiers told the others to carry everything that was in the room. Jajja Namuddu recently called me many times asking to see me. I wondered what the problem was since she had spoken to me, not long ago, on the phone of my colleague Stephen Atukwatse who is one of her representatives. When we met, she told me, “nsaba onzize kumikuttu ntegeze abantu nti obulamu bwange bukyali bubi”! She says she is tired of the back and forth with court which is making her health deteriorate , of the government and National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) refusing to give her back her land which was her only source of livelihood or to compensate her.. she asks that you listen to her plight and continue to help her demand for Justice. The criminal case against her and her fellow accused is still ongoing over a year later, and therefore the civil case against government over what they say was illegal eviction has not commenced. #JusticeForNamuddu

Had everybody walked away, the Amin problem would have been resolved sooner….You couldn’t talk of judicial independence with Amin. In Nov after the death of Monica, the mother of two of Kibalama’s kids(twins) I posted that two Good Samaritans had offered to help with the twins’ fees. Here is the update; the first offer was dependent on the guardian’s willingness to switch the child to the offerer’s school. The school is in Kampala. When I finally met the guardians earlier this month they said they can’t separate the children. When I suggested that both children can be taken to this school where the owner will be paying for one of them the guardians said the children’s mother wanted the school they are in. The second offer, the Samaritan sent me 500k last week as the contribution he can afford because of many other financial obligations and the tough economy. The kids’ fees is 1,470,000 each.

It’s been a week since Kifefe Kizza-Besigye and Obeid Lutale failed to appear in court because of Illness. When their Lead Counsel Martha Karua SC and the team went to visit them in Luzira Prison Kifefe Kizza-Besigye was too sick to make the journey up to the visiting area. Today I’m getting reports that his health has deteriorated. As his lawyer Martha Karua SC says the prolonged and unnecessary incarceration of Kifefe Kizza-Besigye is affecting his health greatly. #FreeKizzaBesigye

Anyway, this week’s to do list; young children appearing it Kanyanya court today (only one out of the many that were arrested has been brought to court), filing a habeas corpus application for the lady that was abducted about a week ago with her baby, court appearance for the 36 young people detained in Luwero tomorrow 3rd and Wednesday 4th, Court appearance for the over 50 arrested in Bulenga and remanded to Kigo prison by Wakiso Court, Wednesday 4th, habeas corpus application for National Unity Platform VP for Northern Uganda Lina Zedriga tomorrow 3rd, habeas corpus application for COP AMPE, among many others…

I like that everyone is starting to feel the discomfort and frustration and the effects of dysfunctionality, and expressing it. But the part that caught my attention here; “mbu mwalonda bubi, I don’t know Ssemuju is opposition. Now we have another riffraff of an MP…” first of all to call George Musisi a riffraff is either ignorance of the person or the word but also a possibility that someone like JK doesn’t know the role of an MP, or blames poor roads or non existent roads to voting opposition, is proof that we still have a very long way to go. I invite him to try the road to Fort Portal, it has been like that for about 10 years now. Kabarole, Kyegwgwa, Kyenjojo, even Mubende vote NRM almost 100%.

In 2023 during the closed door talks that followed the impasse in Parliament of Uganda when opposition MPs were walking out in protest of their missing and illegally detained supporters, security minister Jim Muhwezi requested that the remarks made by Nabbanja where she claimed that the state has JohnBosco Kibalama be expunged from the record. He argued that Nabbanja isn’t the minister in charge of security so she didn’t know what she was talking about. Never mind that Nabbanja is supposed to be in charge of all ministries as PM. I will wait to hear how you all interpret this before I tell you how people that attended that meeting interpreted it… #FreeAllpoliticalPrisonersInUganda #FreeAllPoliticalPrisonersInUg

Let me translate this Priest’s words about Judiciary Uganda word for word so that everyone understands the critical role of the Judiciary that he’s explaining. “Judiciary release people’s people. Judiciary you’re the one sinking us deeper in a hole. When I die come and pray for me I will be buried in Nyamitanga but allow everyone to live in peace… and let everyone work for peace. Don’t think it is the president or the army commander who will work for peace when you are jeopardizing it. You went to school. You know the law but you’re deliberately confusing it. People are crying all because of the Judiciary..” Rev. Fr. Kadidi. #UgandaJudiciaryExhibition

I’ve been informed that with the help of National Unity Platform platform Namuddu was able to get a place. They had started constructing a small house but the person they bought from asked them to halt construction until they pay the full amount. The balance due to the seller is UGX 2M and the balance to finish construction is estimated at about 3M. Daisy, her daughter send me a video (never mind the quality😃). So can we give them a hand please🙏🙏

This is the guy who calls questions on why staff of parliament receive hundreds of millions every week on behalf of the Speaker, why the tax payer incurs the cost of vacation for the Speaker, her deputy & their spouses, why the Speaker spends money that would equip tens of health Centres in a week, why commissioners are given “service awards” on top of the huge salaries and allowances they get, an “attack on the Speaker, he deputy and the administration of Parliament”.
