Never heard one of these tornado sirens before. This was last night in Oklahoma. They sure don’t make tornado sirens like they used to; probably an import.

About that Check Engine light… I will say that all these problems started shortly after I possibly got struck by lightning. I was pulled off on the side of the road doing a radio interview about storm chasing with 680 CJOB out of Winnipeg, home of the Jets,l. I hadn’t seen a damn bolt of lightning all day. Right in the middle of answering a question about the movie Twister, BAM out of nowhere a flash and instant crack of the loudest thunder I’ve ever heard. If it didn’t hit me it was very close. I shit you not this all happened.

Barely escaped the clutches of the tornado west of Seymour, TX moments ago. 100 mph damaging inflow was rushing into the tornado. One of the most powerful storms I’ve ever experienced. Wow.

I just pretended the Rossburn tornado was in front of me and smoked all the old guys in the 35+ year old foot race, after a steak dinner and 2 beer, at the local fair.

Seals in Provincetown, MA are working the Nor’easter swells off Cape Cod. Must be a buffet down there. Conditions really start to deteriorate tonight on Cape Cod.

Here it is! Just a couple of cars chatting in the middle of the road, so I went around them and the Sheriff shoots his car in front of me to stop me. Then as I drove away I watched him pull his phone out and start shooting the tornado! LOL

Busy night tonight at Hotel DFW. You can check out anytime you like but you can never leave. Thank you americanair. I was willing to be the one last flight attendant you delayed us 2 hours for, but I’d much rather sleep on the cold ground. 😂

Managed to doze off for about 40 min total. It’s cold and hard. So I went for a walk and scored the last SkyLink bench. Now hoping the airport cops don’t run us all off.

Greenfield, Iowa was devastated by what will no doubt be a major tornado when rated. Here is that tornado when it first formed southwest of Villisca, Iowa. After narrowly escaping the fast moving , large, powerful twister, I became stuck in the mud as it passed just to my north, toppling trees and damaging a home. Video taken at 2:50 PM CT. #iawx #tornado

Power is out here in Destin, FL tonight after Hurricane Isaias blasted through the area. All I hear is ringing in my ears and the hum of generators. Can only assume these condos in the distance are also lit up by generators. ATT cell service is down but for now I still have Verizon.

While the Wellfleet Nebraska tornado of 2025 had many extremely photogenic and memorable moments, perhaps my fondest memory was shortly after saving the semi-truck drivers life by stopping him from driving into the tornado, as the tornado nearly died but roared back to life. While not its most photogenic moment, I was yards away from the vortex, hearing its hiss as it spun the sand of the Nebraska sandhills into a slurry. Watching the video again, I feel like I'm back there, hunkered behind my vehicle to protect me from flying debris or hail. As the tornado came back to life I laughed because I had already spent such a long time dancing with this twister, I couldn't believe the show might go on. And it even got BETTER! See the full 35 minutes of RAW footage of this chase and another 85 minutes of other tornadoes of 2025 in my latest video. Link in comments.
