H.E. James Orengo has every democratic and constitutional right to declare his interest in the presidency, and we respect that right. H.E. Edwin Sifuna has always reminded us that we should have many Sifunas, many courageous leaders willing to stand up, speak truth to power and go against Kasongo, so that if one Sifuna is silenced, others can carry the torch. That is the democracy he has taught us to believe in. However the presidency and the people have choosen him as others seem to want to chase the presidency! We also equally have a right to choose and support the leader we believe in. As H.E. George Natembeya put it: Sisi Ndio Sifuna. For us, our preferred presidential candidate is H.E. Edwin Watenya Sifuna and we will support him with our blood, will and strength. Hatukuanza Linda Mwananchi to propel anyone else to be honest. Hii nayo tutasema ukweli. I personally also believe in the new dawn of leadership represented by Babu Owino whose energy, courage and connection with young people are reshaping the political landscape, particularly in Luo Nyanza! He is the man to watch in this space to be honest. So we are set with SifuBabu!
