Assam: Robbery by five Miyas led to the death of an Assamese wife in Nagaon. Umar Ali, Mintu, Rajibur, Rejak & Nur have been arrested for committing this crime. They barged into the Assamese couple’s home at 03:00 AM. They didn’t just loot them, but brutally assaulted them with rods. The wife, Ruprekha Bhuyan was in coma for 16 days. Later succumbed to her injuries. Police say two more are to be arrested soon and that this is an inter-district gang that has previously committed similar crimes.
