Individuals such as this among the Palestinian community have been instrumental in strengthening our faith, reinforcing the principles of Tawheed (monotheism), patience, and reliance on Allah. Their actions and teachings have greatly influenced our practical understanding. He now departs this world to meet his lord. It feels as if a part of me has died. We pray that Allah rewards them abundantly for their efforts and grants them justice against the unjust practices of the apartheid state of Israel.

I refuse to engage in any twitter spats or back and forths or scoop so low to them, I categorically don’t engage in twitter storms. I will release a 3 hour podcast that was recorded last Saturday before any of these controversies came about dealing with this narrow minded thought process and misunderstood way of the “salaf” on issues that are open for discussion & ijtihaad. There is clearly a witch hunt on by some of the extremists who are burning to see thousands attending the gatherings. I refuse to give in, and inshallah that podcast will put some of these issues to bed once and for all, issues that have destroyed communities and brotherhood, issues that have turned loved ones against one another, issues that have destroyed marriages, and then we will see who is truly following Islam accordingly and the way of the “salaf” and the major scholars of this era and the past. May Allah bless all those well mannered brothers & sisters who always verify and have good thoughts of their Ustadhs. Below is a video of shaykh fawzan one scholars these extremists take from, inshalalh more will be released in that podcast. As for now, Is shaykh fawzan a “mumayi” (watered down) for answering like this?

Do you have any idea what congratulating someone with “Merry Christmas” means?

Given the recent controversies surrounding a male and female, I'd like to share my reflections based on Islamic law hoping to educate our muslim brothers and sisters on X (twitter). 𝗜 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗵𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. Wrong is wrong is & right is right, and 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 in that which they are free from. Having said that, social media is 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 and playing the role of judge jury executioner. The main issue is a lack of Islamic knowledge in how to deal with theses issues. This is why we must learn our religion properly. Slander is a huge sin in the sight of Allah. Allah says “when you passed it from one tongue to the other, and said with your mouths what you had no knowledge of, taking it lightly while it is *extremely* serious in the sight of Allah A simple like, tweet, retweet etc without verifying information- we think of it light but wallahi it is mighty in the sight of Allah Infact in Islamic law, slander has a public punishment of flogging or imprisonment. It is not a light matter Let us be very careful in future, and learn from this and never do this again as Allah says: “Allah forbids you from ever doing something like this again, if you are ˹true˺ believers”.

Clarification & Retraction on what I said about TOP5 a very well known rapper in the Toronto area. When delivering this lecture in Toronto #canada 🇨🇦 on Tawheed, Murder & a rapper/drug dealers lifestyle, I referred to rappers as non Muslims when also mentioning TOP5, I was contacted by his sister who said he is in-fact a Muslim who’s struggling with sin currently serving a prison sentence. So I just want to retract what I said when making this reference as it’s important we humble ourselves when corrected. For those who know me, I’m extremely compassionate with rappers who come to see me trying my upmost best to help them in their situation, the last thing I want is for him to feel a certain way towards practicing people. I ask Allah to help him and guide him to what is correct and make him a beacon of light for the Muslims.

Don’t be a saint in public & an enemy of Allah behind closed doors.

Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله said: "Whoever does not take pleasure in what pleases the believers and does not feel saddened by what saddens them, then he is not from them." For the history books… “Then came the year 2024 when the oppressed Muslims took back Syria….” A day for the Syrians to remember. #Syria #سوريا #دمشق
