My club champ recap. Another top ten (T6 in an 11 player field) Yesterday- Shit. Horrible. 85. Today- much much better. 77. But honestly a lot of progress. The Golf Performance Center and the PDI app has really helped with game, and mental side. The 77 today included 5 up and downs. Something I haven’t done in years. Even yesterday I stayed mentally in the round. Played last 5 even. Still horrible round but a lot of times I would have checked out. This is 5 iron from 212 over a bunch of trees (hit it in the opposite fairway) to 30 feet. Two putt birdie was nice way to finish. Progress. Semi-finals of match play Wed, City Open Sat and Sun. Grinding all week.

Final Stage of Q-school rounds are already long enough…. A few things to get ahead of the comments. 1. Yes this is a mental block, OCD, whatever you want to call it and I sympathize with that. However Theo has played pro golf for years and it's always been the same, so the sympathy from other players is gone. 2. They have to penalize him. From what I've heard he wasn't penalized last year for slow play. That's not possible. This video is actually pretty quick for him. The more pressure, the longer it goes. In Chicago a few years back, he was playing with Mark, I was caddying and it was raining. And he was over the ball for 3 mins once. 3. Again, Theo is a nice guy, this isn't a shot at him personally. But this is unfair to his playing partners, and after years of this going on it has be handled.
