This guy is -3 in the PGA of Canada PGA Championship of Canada while using an 18-inch putter. He’s also made a hole in one. Yes it’s legal. And yes I’m considering it for the City Open.

Really unfortunate situation happening at the NAIA women’s golf championship in MI The hole on #5 has caused serious issues. There has been multiple 10s, 9s, and 8s. A lot of teams scorecards look like the one below (And this girl handled it so well)

You are going to watch this video at least three times, because the first couple you aren’t positive what you just saw. Brett Silvernail is +2 thru 9 at Hillcrest.

I love this. Niall Shiels-Donegan played like 130 holes over the last 5 days. So after losing in the semi’s of the US Am yesterday, what did he do today? He played his regular Sunday game at the muni he grew up on. With some middle age guys he’s been playing w for years.

My club champ recap. Another top ten (T6 in an 11 player field) Yesterday- Shit. Horrible. 85. Today- much much better. 77. But honestly a lot of progress. The Golf Performance Center and the PDI app has really helped with game, and mental side. The 77 today included 5 up and downs. Something I haven’t done in years. Even yesterday I stayed mentally in the round. Played last 5 even. Still horrible round but a lot of times I would have checked out. This is 5 iron from 212 over a bunch of trees (hit it in the opposite fairway) to 30 feet. Two putt birdie was nice way to finish. Progress. Semi-finals of match play Wed, City Open Sat and Sun. Grinding all week.

What makes Mondays great. A Major Champion, with a carry bag (with giant letters for his name) trying to earn a spot in the last event of the year. The Georgia PGA does it right

THIS is what I love. Ronald Rugumayo is from Uganda. He is the 2901st ranked golfer in the world. The 30-year-old was sitting one outside the cut line coming to the last. He had this putt to become the first player from Uganda to make a cut on the Euro Tour. Amazing.

Mountain Ridge has the meanest greens I’ve ever played. Miss over any green and you’re dead. Prime example today on 18 from Madelene Sagstrom. Ouch.

20 years after turning pro, roughly 11 trips to Q-school, 229 DP starts, 190 Challenge Tour starts. Now his first DP win. Yes I know the stars drive money and ratings but these stories are a small but important part of the pro golf too.

We all (me included) take shots at guys for not talking to media in tough moments. So we should all give credit when they do. ESP in moments like this. This isn’t a tournament loss when you still collect a huge check. This means another season on KFT* with no guarantee that he will ever get his PGA Tour card. So good on Cole Hammer for talking at what is likely the biggest disappointment of his playing career. (*still has a chance to get Tour card at Q-school)

If all of pro golfers played like Charley Hull. 1. Driver out 2. Moving toward the tee as soon as Hannah Green Strikes it 3. No full practice swings 4. 32 (!!) seconds after Green impacted the ball, Hull hits her drive.

All Reagan Zibilski did today was shoot 62, the best score of the day by 3, her best as a pro, earned $100,000- the biggest ever in Epson Tour history…… And moved up from 37th in points to earn her LPGA card. Is that any good? This is the moment it became official

Final Stage of Q-school rounds are already long enough…. A few things to get ahead of the comments. 1. Yes this is a mental block, OCD, whatever you want to call it and I sympathize with that. However Theo has played pro golf for years and it's always been the same, so the sympathy from other players is gone. 2. They have to penalize him. From what I've heard he wasn't penalized last year for slow play. That's not possible. This video is actually pretty quick for him. The more pressure, the longer it goes. In Chicago a few years back, he was playing with Mark, I was caddying and it was raining. And he was over the ball for 3 mins once. 3. Again, Theo is a nice guy, this isn't a shot at him personally. But this is unfair to his playing partners, and after years of this going on it has be handled.

This is why developmental tours are the best. Drew Nesbitt is 30, turned pro 11 years ago. Has stopped playing multiple times and taught the game to make ends meet. Did it earlier this year. And today he earned KFT status via PGA TOUR Americas

Spencer is 40, hasn’t had full Tour status in 7 years, and was so close this week. He knows his chances to get back are limited. And yet he agrees to an interview. At Q-school, 5 mins after finishing, while devastated. This is how it’s done. 🐐

In my (very) biased opinion, this is the shot of the year. American Jordan Gumberg came to the final hole of the DP Tour season needing an eagle to keep his card. And he did just that. Holing a wedge to keep his card. Holy shit.

Holy shit. Casey just skulled a 9-iron so bad, it nearly hit the ladies tee marker. It hits 70 yards short, runs by the bunker. Over the green to the collar and slowly trickles down into the hole… For his first hole in one.

If everyone played as fast as MJ Maguire there would be no issues with getting rounds in. He is playing for the final spot in the final stage of LIV Q-school. Potential life changing playoff. And he played his second shot 14 seconds after Ollies ball stopped. 14 seconds. I love it so much.
