On March 26th, 2016, a similar NLL goaltender hit occurred in Colorado between the Colorado Mammoth and the Calgary Roughnecks. Goaltender Alex Buque LAID OUT transition player Karsen Leung. Leung completed the 2016 NLL Season, but never played in the NLL after that.

BREAKING LACROSSE NEWS: I have received word that the Georgia Swarm's Michael Grace tore his ACL on this play in the 1st quarter of this past weekend's quarterfinals playoff game against the Buffalo Bandits. He will miss the remainder of the NLL playoffs and will be receiving surgery as soon as possible. This injury would also keep him out of any PLL action this summer, and likely the majority of next year's NLL season.

That's going to leave a mark. Cyborg, Graeme Hossack, was not going to let the New Westminster Salmonbellies score in transition. Wow.

Fighting is going on in the stands at Queen's Park Arena. The fans are just as heated as the players on the floor and on the bench.

I’ve ran into former University of Texas lacrosse player Dillon Fisher getting wall ball reps in a few times in NYC. Thought I’d capture him in action this time. The love of the game lasts a lifetime.

We've got HAYMAKERS being thrown between The New Westminster Salmonbellies' Elijah Gash & Six Nations Chiefs' Steve Priolo. In the NLL, Elijah Gash plays for the Toronto Rock & Steve Priolo plays for the Buffalo Bandits, so you know these guys don't like each other year-round.

Dhane Smith is MR. CLUTCH. Down 8-5 with less than 6 minutes in regulation, the Bandits showed why they are the 3-time defending champs. What a game. This is a MUST-WATCH finish.

Chase Fraser just scored the National Lacrosse League's Goal of the Year. It's hard to remember the last time a goal that was so important looked this amazing - a jaw-dropping #SCTop10 worthy goal.

THE UNIVERSITY OF TAMPA GETS ITS REVENGE. The men's lacrosse team wins it 12-11 in an overtime thriller against Adelphi. Tampa's only leads in the final: 1-0 and 12-11. Another LEGENDARY game between these rival programs.

Considering the moment and how the rest of the game unfolded, this ground ball play by Johns Hopkins' Luke Martin has to be considered one of the best ground ball efforts in NCAA tournament history, right? In sudden-death overtime, making this kind of play with one of the best players in the country (Cornell's Willem Firth) fighting for the ball is next-level awesomeness. Cornell never had possession after this play, and Hopkins would score to move on to the Quarterfinals about a minute later.
