The #COAS was briefed on the operational deployment, infrastructure development in forward areas, indigenous modernisation and technology-driven capability enhancement. He also reviewed measures to strengthen combat readiness and community outreach initiatives promoting peace and development across the #NorthEast. OPERATION SINDOOR Indian Army Pulverizes Terrorist Launchpads As a response to Pakistan's misadventures of attempted drone strikes on the night of 08 and 09 May 2025 in multiple cities of Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab, the #Indian Army conducted a coordinated fire assault on terrorist launchpads, pulverizing & razing them to cinders. The terrorist launchpads, located close to the Line of Control, were a hub for planning and executing terror attacks against Indian civilians and security forces in the past. #OperationAmistad 🇮🇳🇻🇪 Following the successful completion of its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief mission, #OperationAmistad, the Indian Army contingent has commenced its de-induction from Venezuela. Mobilised from India on 26 June 2026, the composite task force established a fully operational field hospital by 28 June. During the mission, the medical team provided critical medical care to over 1,900 earthquake-affected people, working in close coordination with the local authorities to support relief efforts.
