Finally found a good spot to show this Destroyer Thruster tech! (Not game-breaking, I promise.) If you let go of your movement inputs while thrusting, you won't clamber. That means you can ramp up certain surfaces! For clarity, your inputs should be: - (whatever movement you need to set up) - Thruster - AFTER Thruster starts, let go until you collide with the object and go airborne. If all goes well, you'll just pop up like I do. You probably don't even need a smooth ramp, you could realistically abuse some map geometry for some cool jumps. I used these blue tank things as an example, but I'd be willing to bet you could slam yourself into a ton of different objects for easy air. I'll need to do more testing. This feels really similar to some old tricks you could with Halo Reach's evade. It's pretty cool being able to apply old Halo knowledge here on Marathon. Anyway, let me know what you think!
