It’s genuinely heartbreaking to see Keonho’s first anniversary video without even a short glimpse of his pre-debut days, especially when the video included pre-debut footage of the other members. We’re not asking for his entire history or a long compilation. Even a short clip would have meant so much, especially one that showed the talented trainee Keonho was before debut; the skills, passion, and potential he had already shown long before he stepped onto the stage. Those pre-debut videos are precious because they capture memories that can’t be recreated. They show where they came from, how they grew, and the person behind the artist. And Keonho himself has spoken about capturing their growth through videos and pictures, which makes those memories feel even more meaningful. Cortis first anniversary was the perfect moment to remind fans that before he was the artist we cheer for today, he was already a talented kid working hard toward his dream. We don’t need much. Just one small glimpse of pre-debut Keonho; the talented trainee, the boy before the stage. And we simply don’t understand why this goofy video was shown instead nor its significance for Keonho. Here is a short video clip of a 14 years old Keonho having dance lessons in LA. (Video posted in Sep 2023). What we see is a very cool teenager with quiet allure, steadfast with his learning.
