Wow. This is apparently what was supposed to be a STATIC FIRE TEST today of a Tianlong-3 first stage by China's Space Pioneer. That's catastrophic, not static. Firm was targeting an orbital launch in the coming months.

Turns out there were two male mice launched on the DEAR-5 cargo spacecraft for neuroscience research. Spacecraft is planned to operate in orbit for one year and is not rated for reentry, so it's game over at some point for the rodents. Video is prelaunch.

Drone footage from Deep Blue Aerospace's VTVL attempt today. Great view of the landing and explosion.

This is a spectacular view of the fiery, failed Zhuque-3 first stage landing attempt over the desert.

Here's the video of the VTVL test. Landing legs deploy, accuracy good, but that's quite a fall after engine cutoff. Deep Blue Aerospace statement says they succeeded with 10 of 11 objectives in their statement.

Oh boy. So Chinese methalox rocket engine maker Jiuzhou Yunjian has tested its Longyun-70 engines with a stainless steel tank made by Space Epoch, a Chinese launch startup that wants to develop an initial mini version of SpaceX's Starship.

Hop test: China's iSpace has conducted a ~200 metre altitude VTVL test with its Hyperbola-2 methane-liquid oxygen test stage.

Onboard view of descent and views of the capture.

Another launch video of CZ-12A. Awaiting official reports, but reportedly reached orbit, first stage landing failed.

China just conducted a successful pad abort test for its new Mengzhou crew spacecraft

Looks like Chinese company Space Epoch just carried out a vertical takeoff and splashdown test.

Landspace has published a video from the Zhuque-3 reentry and descent, including some onboard camera footage. Great to see.

Stable descent and splashdown footage.

Heads up: A spent stage from a Long March 3B hypergolic rocket launched yesterday fell in Zhenyuan County, Guizhou. Another terrifying close call with the CZ-3B.

A YF-100 engine variant test at Tongchuan today.

Normal service resumes, with a Long March 12 (expendable) lifting off from Hainan at 0748 UTC today, delivering the 19th group of Guowang satellites (developed by commercial company GalaxySpace) into orbit. Crowds got a good view.
