A FAMILY OF SEVEN KILLED IN A ROAD CRASH My condolences to relatives and friends of the family of 7 who perished in a road crash at Kinoni on Masaka-Mbarara highway early this morning. The seven, 3 adults and 4 children, were killed when a Toyota Fielder UBH 476W in which they were traveling was involved in a head-on collision with a Fuso truck coming from the opposite direction. According to relatives, the perished family traveling in a Toyota Fielder was heading to Kabale for a party. Some of the dead have been identified by early responders as Ivan Burahi and Ainembazi Brenda. More details on the cause of crash and identities of other victims will follow as Uganda Police Force concludes the investigations. Several passengers sustained injuries Wednesday evening after a Nile Star Bus overturned along the Kampala–Gulu highway in Alengo Village, Diima in Kiryandongo District. LEGENDARY DAD::Today morning at 6:00am as we gathered at Lugogo Legends grounds for #LegendsMarathon2025, to run/walk for our legends, in our midst was a legendary dad with his son. The son who was most likely 5 years old was with his bicycle ready to ride along his running dad Paul Mwirigi Muriungi The two rode/ran/walked alongside each other an entire marathon, 42km. As I walked past them around Kololo hill, I couldn’t stop thinking about this special father/son moment and the memories these two are building. As they crossed the finish line, you could see the boy was proud of his achievement. I don’t know what they went through over the 6 hours marathon, but I am sure it will leave them with more than 42 memories that will live on for years.
