Driver of the Ford pickup UA 065BQ made a U-Turn on Buganda Road and drove in the opposite direction in total disregard of the one way road regulations and safety of other road users. This type of reckless behavior is more associated with rogues driving around, mostly in government registered vehicles and those numberless SUVs. They have little regard of safety. Dear Sylvia Mulinge M.B.S, if this is one of your team members MTN Uganda, you may need to send them for a quick course on road etiquette, or if you donated this vehicle, then they should scrape off the branding. TERRORIST ON THE LOOSE‼️ Driver a RAV4 UBH 373U in total disregard of common sense, road regulations, was last evening driving in the opposite direction on the fast moving Kampala Northern Bypass. The ninja terrorizing other motorists popped up around the Metroplex area. He caused several traffic holdups even me who was walking, was about to get to Kisaasi intersection ahead of him. Such impunity and recklessness is very hazardous, makes our roads unsafe and should not be allowed to see light of the day any single day. Over to you Uganda Police Force . Safe Roads Save Lives.

Throwback:: 20/9/2019 That moment in Parliament when the Budama West MP, Hon. Jacob Oboth Oboth said that the Jinja Road traffic jam is limiting the sexual activity of its user. This was when Eastern region MPs brought to then Speaker's Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga attention, the delay to construct the Jinja Expressway. WALK FOR THE KING🙏 We braved the early Saturday morning rain to step out for a 34km walk in memory of our beloved King Oyo. During the walk, we made a stopover at the Munyonyo Palace to pray our respects to the king and pray for his family and Tooro Kingdom. We thanked God for his life, and prayed for peace, tranquility, and understanding to reign in Tooro. We prayed for oneness, and that amidst whatever is going on, the Lord may remain enthroned as the King of kings. King Oyo was a great friend of Joe Walker Foundation, he supported our Kampala to Fort Portal road safety walk, and hosted us at his Demonstration Farm in Kabarole. May he rest in peace.

A FAMILY OF SEVEN KILLED IN A ROAD CRASH My condolences to relatives and friends of the family of 7 who perished in a road crash at Kinoni on Masaka-Mbarara highway early this morning. The seven, 3 adults and 4 children, were killed when a Toyota Fielder UBH 476W in which they were traveling was involved in a head-on collision with a Fuso truck coming from the opposite direction. According to relatives, the perished family traveling in a Toyota Fielder was heading to Kabale for a party. Some of the dead have been identified by early responders as Ivan Burahi and Ainembazi Brenda. More details on the cause of crash and identities of other victims will follow as Uganda Police Force concludes the investigations. PS::Drive carefully; avoid speeding, avoid overtaking in corners and only overtake when you have a clear full view of the road. The Watotot Christmas tree is taking to the skies at Old Kampala SSS grounds. The 4-tier Christmas tree structure when fully constructed, this will stand at 21 meters or 68.9 feet from the ground. Another Nile Star on the ground!!! Several passengers sustained injuries Wednesday evening after a Nile Star Bus overturned along the Kampala–Gulu highway in Alengo Village, Diima in Kiryandongo District. Quick recovery to those who were injured. Thank God no fatalities. This is the second Nile Star bus to be involved in a road crash in less than 3 weeks on the same road. Points of reflection; Is it the Buses? Is it about the bus maintenance? Is it driver fatigue? Is it the road? Or it’s the driver’s incompetence? These aren’t accidents but avoidable crashes.
