You are looking at Dept. of Agriculture prime topsoil being stripped off farmland that’s hosting Excelsior Solar. The solar salesmen told everyone in the area the land would be “farmable again.” They are stripping prime topsoil that’s grown food for nearly 100 years in the area, loading it up, and taking it off the property. This video was captured by Barbie Starowitz. They are then bringing in low quality soil, clay, and crushed rock to take its place. Where is the prime topsoil going? The drivers do their best to hide that from the landowners in Byron. The resources, like topsoil, are extracted during late or early hours, sometimes behind fencing so landowners that leased can’t measure the resources they are losing (and not being paid for - more posts on that). One investigation uncovered the soil goes to a local dump, as part of an arrangement with incoming hazardous waste that the landfills will have to accept. For legal purposes, this investigation uncovered that allegedly. USDA prime topsoil takes 100 to 500 years to form. But it only takes an afternoon for it to be loaded into trucks, carted off as part of the biggest scam ever peddled on the American public. ORES doesn’t monitor the worksites. It’s the Wild West. And it’s all on purpose.

Today I spoke with a local farm owner who has been aggressively approached by SIX different solar companies to lease her acreage. This woman is actively farming and selling produce at local farmer’s markets. This is a foreign corporate invasion that’ll interrupt our future food supply more than people are talking about.

You're looking at a drone shot of Byron, New York, where thousands of acres of solar panels have swallowed up a county that boasts the MOST amount of productive agricultural land in the entire state. This is only a portion of the panels that have been anchored into Byron for Excelsior Solar. With the newly announced Brusselville Solar on the ORES docket, this aerial view will only encompass a fraction of the total solar footprint. Those responsible for this must be held accountable. This video should be on NATIONAL news. We are going to lose our state and the land that feeds us very quickly if there is not immediate intervention. This is dystopian, anti-human, catastrophic to wildlife, a direct threat to our future food autonomy, and the largest land grab of our American lifetimes from generational landowners to foreign corporations. And it's all on purpose.

This is the state of Upstate New York right now. It’s becoming a commercial solar wasteland, all for a form of energy that only converts at 15% of its annual potential in this climate. This is a money-laundering scheme between NY, Kathy Hochul, and foreign renewable corporations cashing in on millions in green energy subsidies and credits. Those credits? They’re subsidized using YOUR taxpayer dollars and delivery charges on our electric bills. We need the federal government to intervene in New York State YESTERDAY!

For everyone who refuses to believe New York is felling hundreds of thousands of trees to make way for commercial solar… I give you this submitted video from earlier this year. Taken at Camp Smith, over 50 acres of forest, full of bears, deer, beavers, and bald eagles, was felled for a 20MW solar complex. Since commercial solar only converts at 15% of its annual potential in Upstate New York, this hideous complex will end up generating a measly 3MW of power annually. We need to save the environment from the people who want “to save the environment.”

This is the aerial footage ORES doesn’t want you to see. This is what they’ve done to one rural Upstate NY town. Over 6,000 acres of land has been sited for commercial solar. The Hamlet of Byron is only 400 acres in size. And there are other solar complexes beyond the ORES monstrosities here. The people from there write to me and tell me they’ve had to mourn their home. The graves where their parents are buried are now surrounded on 4 sides by Chinese solar panels. The farmland is gone. The animals displaced. Roadkill by the perimeter fencing in every direction. No one’s electric bills went down. All of ours went up. They are using the delivery charge to socialize the failed rollout of solar and wind. What pathetic amounts of energy it generates in our northern climate isn’t for Upstate at all. It’s for NYC. We’re districts in the Hunger Games, bled dry for those in costumes over in the Capitol that laugh as they give our best land to foreign corporations. I will never, ever forgive these people. They are anti-human, anti-environment, and anti-God.

I traveled to Copake, New York this past January to sit in on their ORES public hearing. This town has been trying to fight off Shepherd’s Run Solar for almost a DECADE! The elected town officials, the county board, the citizens, and the nonprofits in the town unanimously oppose this project. The Office of Renewable Energy Siting is forcing it anyway. This is what the dismantling of democracy looks like in real-time.

Scenes out of Byron, New York, where Genesee County has been flattened beyond repair for foreign corporations intent on grabbing green energy credits and subsidies. Genesee County, not coincidentally, has the highest percentage of classified farmland of any county in New York. Since New York State uses its own soil classification system for farmland (starting in 2020), it’s been able to downgrade what’s considered prime farmland by U.S. Department of Agriculture standards. Why would New York want to do that? Foreign developers have to pay to “mitigate” the loss of prime farmland. By downgrading what’s considered prime, it spares the corporations from having to pay for the destruction of the land that feeds us. This is the biggest grift ever peddled on the people on New York. The land will never be farmed again. Silver, cadmium, sometimes lead, microplastics, and zinc leach off the panels onto the soil below them. One hail storm, blizzard, or tornado and glass shards will coat the earth below the panels. That’s why potato growing associations nationwide won’t grow potatoes on former solar complexes. They’re taking our best farmland for renewable energy credits and deals with foreign corporations.

I did not know I was going to get to witness Secretary Brooke Rollins and Kelly Loeffler sign a Memorandum of Understanding yesterday that allows landowners across the country to report and flag to the federal government what is happening to their land. It was an honor to witness this. One of the ways I got into contact with John Rich🇺🇸 and the Dept. of Agriculture was by filling out the form in the Lawfare portal that’s now available on the USDA website. If you guys have solar or wind destroying your home, please use this link. They read the submissions! I filled it out for Fort Edward and other ORES projects. And sure enough, not even a few days later I made contact with John. I want to stress how unusual it is for a federal agency to care this much about everyday landowners. This is not normal… and I am very grateful for it! Use the portal!

More from Ticonderoga, New York, which sits inside of the Adirondack Park. You, as a private citizen, are not allowed to do anything to the land in the ADK Park. You’ll be fined if you do. But foreign solar developers? They’re free to strip topsoil, grade, bulldoze, apply herbicides, fence off habitat, and drive Chinese-made panels into the earth.

Our NYS governor Kathy Hochul said it herself earlier this year, “we have a problem with municipalities saying no” to big solar and wind. That’s a “problem” to her. It’s a problem to have something in the way of the biggest wealth transfer of our lifetimes: handing generational farmland to foreign corporations. So Kathy and Cuomo before her created ORES (Office of Renewable Energy Siting) to FORCE these complexes on our rural towns. That’s how these people work. They despise democracy.

No, you’re not looking at the Epstein files. You’re looking at New York State, in bed with a Canadian renewable company, Boralex, redacting every last piece of information as it relates to the Fort Edward Grasslands and the endangered species here that will perish if they build Fort Edward Solar. Every ORES (Office of Renewable Energy Siting) project is littered with unlawful redactions. There’s a very small group of people getting very, very rich off this arrangement.

Many have whistleblown to me that diesel generators are brought into solar complexes to bump up their numbers / fill in for the 16 hours a day they aren’t generating power IF the sun is out. For anyone familiar with Upstate NY… the sun is never out here. Ever. We have similar sunshine to Seattle, Washington. That’s why commercial solar only generates at 15% of its annual potential here. It’s not a grid fix and the powers-that-be know it.

Thanks to John Rich🇺🇸, help is on the way. The fact that we have to go outside of our state to beg for the federal government to intervene should tell you how bad this is. Thank you to John for hearing the pleas of Upstate New Yorkers. We’re being held hostage for a green energy money laundering scheme. Our prime farmland, grasslands, and endangered species are caught in the crossfire.

It’s a sad day inside the Adirondack Park. The mountains in the distance will tell you right away you’re looking at New York’s North Country. The New York State Adirondack Park Agency has allowed hundreds of thousands of solar panels to be anchored into ADK soil, fenced off and soaked in herbicides. I never thought I’d see the day. Viewsheds, summit views, rural character, and American history: ruined. All for a form of commercial power that generates at only 15% of its annual potential. No other energy form would be forced onto us with such dismal returns. For some reason, solar gets a pass. They call it green and clean because they believe you’re stupid enough to believe it. We need federal intervention here in New York State immediately. The people running our environmental agencies are compromised by foreign corporate interests and kickbacks.

These final permits are SELLABLE ASSETS. The permits run with the land. The companies will sell, transfer, and dissolve the LLCs they made for these projects… many times before there’s ever a shovel in the ground. ORES awards final permits 100% of the time, regardless of expert testimony, environmental studies, public comments, and letters from town officials. This is known as regulatory capture. ORES is captured by the industry it claims to regulate. Why does ORES issue final permits 100% of the time? That’s the deal they’ve struck with these foreign renewable developers. The contracts the landowners signed are for 35+ years. When the panels aren’t useful in 10-years (it’s actually sooner than that in a commercial arrangement), why do these companies need the land for another 3 decades? What comes after the solar panels? Look this up! It’s happening nationwide.

I had to form a nonprofit to fund an independent environmental assessment for Fort Edward Solar since the foreign solar corporation, Boralex, redacted its studies so heavily, the public and scientists could not weigh in. What came out inside of it shocked me. New York State is helping foreign renewable corporations to destroy prime farmland, grassland habitat, and our water sources in the name of “green energy.”

New York State politicians want the tax-paying citizens of this state to fund a grant program that they pitch to solar companies. NYSERDA gets that money from the delivery charge on your electric bill. It’s why you can’t afford your electricity payment. The grant program will be shopped to foreign corporations intent on cashing in. The “green” in green energy is nothing more than money. The losers? Our wildlife, our water, and our environment. These people must be stopped.
