Buy American farmland before foreign wind and solar corporations do | President: American Land Rescue Fund | Exposing the “green energy” scam

You are looking at Dept. of Agriculture prime topsoil being stripped off farmland that’s hosting Excelsior Solar. The solar salesmen told everyone in the area the land would be “farmable again.” They are stripping prime topsoil that’s grown food for nearly 100 years in the area, loading it up, and taking it off the property. This video was captured by Barbie Starowitz. They are then bringing in low quality soil, clay, and crushed rock to take its place. Where is the prime topsoil going? The drivers do their best to hide that from the landowners in Byron. The resources, like topsoil, are extracted during late or early hours, sometimes behind fencing so landowners that leased can’t measure the resources they are losing (and not being paid for - more posts on that). One investigation uncovered the soil goes to a local dump, as part of an arrangement with incoming hazardous waste that the landfills will have to accept. For legal purposes, this investigation uncovered that allegedly. USDA prime topsoil takes 100 to 500 years to form. But it only takes an afternoon for it to be loaded into trucks, carted off as part of the biggest scam ever peddled on the American public. ORES doesn’t monitor the worksites. It’s the Wild West. And it’s all on purpose.

All 5 NY Department of Public Service Siting Board (SB) members had alternates take their place for today’s hearing on Alle-Catt Wind. Not one actual sitting SB member was present. It was evident immediately that the hearing was nothing more than political theater. It was decided before today’s hearing that the SB would deny Cattaraugus County and the Coalition of Concerned Citizens a re-hearing on the nighttime noise issue with the Alle-Catt Wind turbines. When each alternate was given a chance to weigh in on the record, all five were prepped and at the ready to say, “no questions and no comment.” Each one did as they had been diligently instructed. All five avoided eye contact with me at the back of the room. You could feel the shame wafting off some of them. These bureaucrats in Albany, NY are making decisions about rural towns and counties they’ll never step foot in. And your tax dollars are going to salaries for people who can’t show up to their own SB hearings. Something needs to change.

Today I spoke with a local farm owner who has been aggressively approached by SIX different solar companies to lease her acreage. This woman is actively farming and selling produce at local farmer’s markets. This is a foreign corporate invasion that’ll interrupt our future food supply more than people are talking about.

A perfect storm caused the Flat Creek Solar permit to be relinquished yesterday. From Montgomery county and local towns and nonprofits suing the state, to the main landowner that leased for the project suing the company for not paying them, to the Executive Order disrupting foreign supply chains for these (foreign) solar complexes… The Amish, the landowners, and the eagles have been set free. It’s a good day. There are 49 other communities being held hostage by the Office of Renewable Energy Siting in New York State. Our work is not even close from being done. But as the Amish told me yesterday, they jumped for joy in Canajoharie, NY. Pop a bottle tonight in honor of this unprecedented victory! Time to keep the pressure ON! The animals at Fort Edward Solar need this help next.

You're looking at a drone shot of Byron, New York, where thousands of acres of solar panels have swallowed up a county that boasts the MOST amount of productive agricultural land in the entire state. This is only a portion of the panels that have been anchored into Byron for Excelsior Solar. With the newly announced Brusselville Solar on the ORES docket, this aerial view will only encompass a fraction of the total solar footprint. Those responsible for this must be held accountable. This video should be on NATIONAL news. We are going to lose our state and the land that feeds us very quickly if there is not immediate intervention. This is dystopian, anti-human, catastrophic to wildlife, a direct threat to our future food autonomy, and the largest land grab of our American lifetimes from generational landowners to foreign corporations. And it's all on purpose.

This is the state of Upstate New York right now. It’s becoming a commercial solar wasteland, all for a form of energy that only converts at 15% of its annual potential in this climate. This is a money-laundering scheme between NY, Kathy Hochul, and foreign renewable corporations cashing in on millions in green energy subsidies and credits. Those credits? They’re subsidized using YOUR taxpayer dollars and delivery charges on our electric bills. We need the federal government to intervene in New York State YESTERDAY!

For everyone who refuses to believe New York is felling hundreds of thousands of trees to make way for commercial solar… I give you this submitted video from earlier this year. Taken at Camp Smith, over 50 acres of forest, full of bears, deer, beavers, and bald eagles, was felled for a 20MW solar complex. Since commercial solar only converts at 15% of its annual potential in Upstate New York, this hideous complex will end up generating a measly 3MW of power annually. We need to save the environment from the people who want “to save the environment.”

Happening now at Excelsior Solar in Western New York: topsoil is being stripped and moved off properties. The soil is moved around properties, mixed with clay and crushed rock. Some is taken offsite to a waste management facility, where it’s later brought to the dump. Other loads are taken from one property and dumped on other participating properties. This is particularly traumatic for locals to watch because this is Dept. of Agriculture prime farmland and topsoil that’s been used to grow food for nearly a century. As locals say, “they are playing the shell game of topsoil.” When the soil is moved around multiple properties, carted off, and mixed with clay, the original value of the soil is lost. Landowners will never be able to calculate the financial loss of their resources. To say the land will be “farmable again” is one of the most egregious foreign corporate lies ever spewed at rural New Yorkers’ doorsteps. Something must be done about this. This video was captured by Barbie Starowitz.

We were not allowed to film, take photos, or record today’s hearing in Copake, NY. Only 10-minutes into the hearing and I could see why. It was an absolute bloodbath for the developer, Hecate Energy, who was exposed lying multiple times by the Town of Copake and the Department of Public Service. I encourage everyone to read the transcript when it becomes available. It was on display for all to see here that these solar and wind companies cut corners, lie, misconstrue the truth, and hide behind terminology to get their final ORES permits. Normally, ORES rubber stamps those permits. And our environment is the first loser. But today, something different happened. I have more coverage to share.

I traveled to Copake, New York this past January to sit in on their ORES public hearing. This town has been trying to fight off Shepherd’s Run Solar for almost a DECADE! The elected town officials, the county board, the citizens, and the nonprofits in the town unanimously oppose this project. The Office of Renewable Energy Siting is forcing it anyway. This is what the dismantling of democracy looks like in real-time.

The land will never be farmed again. Silver, cadmium, sometimes lead, microplastics, and zinc leach off the panels onto the soil below them. One hail storm, blizzard, or tornado and glass shards will coat the earth below the panels. That’s why potato growing associations nationwide won’t grow potatoes on former solar complexes. They’re taking our best farmland for renewable energy credits and deals with foreign corporations.

Yesterday, every person I have come to know and learn from in this ORES battle gathered in my Amish barn, with the Dept. of Agriculture and John Rich🇺🇸, to call for the dissolution of this bureaucratic office. After John called the meeting to order, I read my speech I wrote the night before. I mean every word of this speech. These are everyday people who are heroes. And it’s everyday Americans that will free our small towns and villages countrywide from authoritarian governments sitting in their state capitals. I will never forget yesterday. I don’t think anyone else who was there will forget it either.

More from Ticonderoga, New York, which sits inside of the Adirondack Park. You, as a private citizen, are not allowed to do anything to the land in the ADK Park. You’ll be fined if you do. But foreign solar developers? They’re free to strip topsoil, grade, bulldoze, apply herbicides, fence off habitat, and drive Chinese-made panels into the earth.

This is the aerial footage ORES doesn’t want you to see. This is what they’ve done to one rural Upstate NY town. Over 6,000 acres of land has been sited for commercial solar. The Hamlet of Byron is only 400 acres in size. And there are other solar complexes beyond the ORES monstrosities here. The people from there write to me and tell me they’ve had to mourn their home. The graves where their parents are buried are now surrounded on 4 sides by Chinese solar panels. The farmland is gone. The animals displaced. Roadkill by the perimeter fencing in every direction. No one’s electric bills went down. All of ours went up. They are using the delivery charge to socialize the failed rollout of solar and wind. What pathetic amounts of energy it generates in our northern climate isn’t for Upstate at all. It’s for NYC. We’re districts in the Hunger Games, bled dry for those in costumes over in the Capitol that laugh as they give our best land to foreign corporations. I will never, ever forgive these people. They are anti-human, anti-environment, and anti-God.

Scenes out of Byron, New York, where Genesee County has been flattened beyond repair for foreign corporations intent on grabbing green energy credits and subsidies. Genesee County, not coincidentally, has the highest percentage of classified farmland of any county in New York. Since New York State uses its own soil classification system for farmland (starting in 2020), it’s been able to downgrade what’s considered prime farmland by U.S. Department of Agriculture standards. Why would New York want to do that? Foreign developers have to pay to “mitigate” the loss of prime farmland. By downgrading what’s considered prime, it spares the corporations from having to pay for the destruction of the land that feeds us. This is the biggest grift ever peddled on the people on New York. And now this is the disgustingly hideous result. This video was filmed by Jennifer Suzanne.

Here is the real-time capture of topsoil, stripped from properties at Excelsior Solar in Byron, New York, being moved to separate participating parcels in what locals are calling the “topsoil shell game.” This video was captured by Barbie Starowitz. This raises serious questions about the solar companies complying with the approved Agricultural Plans and permit conditions. Landowners have told me they signed after being told their “land would be farmed again and their topsoil would remain onsite.” Dept. of Agriculture prime farmland and the topsoil it contains is being stripped, loaded, moved, and in some cases, sold offsite without the landowners being consulted. The contracts say the topsoil is to “remain separate from subsoil.” Barbie has captured the companies mixing clay and rock with the prime topsoil as well. The bigger discussion here should be the FTC violations these solar companies are committing by claiming these complexes are “farms” or “will be farmed again.” When you take USDA prime topsoil and transport it off a participating parcel, replacing it with clay and rock, telling the landowners their land will be farmed again, that is a federal trade violation. Calling these “farms” at all is a trade violation. These are industrial wastelands. The companies and bureaucrats in Albany call them “farms” to circumvent the zoning everyone else out in the country has to follow.

You’re looking at a solar complex in Ravena, New York, built in one of the cloudiest regions of the country: Upstate NY. This was prime farmland. Now it’s an industrial complex that only converts at 15% of its annual potential in this climate. The perimeter fencing is displacing wildlife in every direction. The rural character of the area is destroyed forever.

No, you’re not looking at the Epstein files. You’re looking at New York State, in bed with a Canadian renewable company, Boralex, redacting every last piece of information as it relates to the Fort Edward Grasslands and the endangered species here that will perish if they build Fort Edward Solar. Every ORES (Office of Renewable Energy Siting) project is littered with unlawful redactions. There’s a very small group of people getting very, very rich off this arrangement.

Our NYS governor Kathy Hochul said it herself earlier this year, “we have a problem with municipalities saying no” to big solar and wind. That’s a “problem” to her. It’s a problem to have something in the way of the biggest wealth transfer of our lifetimes: handing generational farmland to foreign corporations. So Kathy and Cuomo before her created ORES (Office of Renewable Energy Siting) to FORCE these complexes on our rural towns. That’s how these people work. They despise democracy.

Many have whistleblown to me that diesel generators are brought into solar complexes to bump up their numbers / fill in for the 16 hours a day they aren’t generating power IF the sun is out. For anyone familiar with Upstate NY… the sun is never out here. Ever. We have similar sunshine to Seattle, Washington. That’s why commercial solar only generates at 15% of its annual potential here. It’s not a grid fix and the powers-that-be know it.
