I have seen the destruction in Gaza. Children need more than just survival. They need a real ceasefire. And they need a future. My message at the Call to Action for Palestinian Children in Gaza and the West Bank 👇 #UNGA

AI is moving faster than many of our policies and institutions. We cannot let it run on autopilot. We have to steer it. And one test matters above all: does it make people’s lives better? At #DigitalUNGA, UN Development and Int’l Telecommunication Union brought leaders and changemakers together to ask how technology can advance development and improve lives. AI may define this decade. But humanity must define AI.

At the Rafah border crossing with a message of solidarity and humanity. There is no time to lose during this ceasefire. The only way out of this conflict is dialogue. Without it, all sides are lost.

Violence against civilians will have consequences. Extremist settlers in the West Bank will be banned from entering Belgium. We will work with the U.S. on sanctions targeting individuals involved in actions that undermine peace, security, and stability in the West Bank.

Schokkend om vast te stellen dat Vlaams Belang-parlementslid Frank Creyelman via buitenlandse inmenging onze democratie trachtte te saboteren. Dit is opnieuw een wake-up call over waar extreem rechts toe in staat is.

What starts with one knitting machine can become a business. What starts with one woman can support many more. When women have the means to move forward - entire communities move with them. A truly inspiring visit to Khadija's tailoring business, Nakh wa Sozan, in Afghanistan.

Resilient Sutan is showing what moving beyond crisis looks like in practice. Safer shelter. Restored water. Reliable energy. Flood protection. Support for livelihoods. This is how UN Development is helping communities rebuild stronger and regain stability.

A city only works for everyone when it works for women. Congratulations to Bangkok City, Governor ชัชชาติ สิทธิพันธุ์ and Deputy Governor Tavida on achieving the Gender Equality Seal – Gold. The Seal is a UN Development standard for building equality into decisions, budgets & services.
