Ummm, Jayden Struble? Wow.

Oasiz Wiesblatt welcomes Vitali Pinchuk to training camp. What a hit.

Uh, navy helmets? And navy pants with gold trim? The heck?

Just normal Jordan Binnington behavior here. Is there a single goalie in the league more repellent than him?

Is this a thing with Connor McDavid? The spits per 60 is off the charts

Ryan O'Reilly, future coach?

Is Valeri Nichushkin crying here?

Zach L'Heureux had 9 suspensions in the QMJHL, but that reputation waned a bit in the AHL (only two!). This slew foot on Spurgeon will likely be his first in the NHL.

I mean, Reid Schaefer just bulldozing Cale Makar, then taking the puck and slam dunking a goal in the blue ice. Barry Trotz may need a new pair of pants.

Ryker Lee had an assist in the game, then this shootout goal. Ridiculous hands.

Fedor Svehckov is an absolute gem.

To preview a story I've got coming out tomorrow... here's a peek at the plethora of team bags I've seen at Preds development camp this week.

This might be the worst embellishment I've seen and it wasn't called.

Look at this play by Cole O’Hara. Steals the puck from Alex Killorn and passes it to the first 600-goal scorer he can find.

This is a dirty hit by Tanner Jeannot. Should have been a penalty. But he does answer for it with a five minute major for fighting immediately after.

Pekka Rinne and professional son Juuse Saros chatting on the bench during an optional morning skate.

They are calling this a major penalty on Cole Smith. Replay shows plenty of shoulder contact, but nothing that appears major worthy.

Highly recommend listening to this caller rip the Titans on 102.5 The Game this morning. "There's 30 NFL teams out there. Then there's 50 feet of horse manure. Then there's the Browns and the Titans." Titans fans handling this well!

Sibling fight! Ozzy Wiesblatt and Oasiz Wiesblatt go after each other in the 2nd period of today's intrasquad scrimmage. Amazing.

Ryan O’Reilly just torched himself in the locker room after the loss. “I can’t make a 6-foot pass to save my life… I’ve had one good year in my career”

Nick Saban: “Miss Terry has never asked me who won a game… but last night she asked me who won the Predators game” lol

As I understand it, this is likely a preview of the hometown remix jerseys that will be revealed next month. The helmets are a dark navy, almost black. The gold trim on the pants has three stars down the side.

Jonathan Marchessault, who is from Canada, on the recent booing of the national anthems - first in Canada, then tonight at Bridgestone Arena. Really great response from him. Excellent perspective.

Here’s Tommy Bleyl talking about seeing his face on the side of Bridgestone Arena, the pride of being drafted by Nashville. Also, Bleyl confirmed with me he’s going to Michigan State for the 26/27 season.

J.T. Miller’s comment on Jim Rutherford’s remarks about the rift between him and Elias Pettersson “I don’t have one”

It's pretty wild how Sidney Crosby just gets to do stuff like this with no consequences.

Funny moment during our interview with Ryker Lee. He looked over and saw his good friend and rooomate Aidan Park getting drafted by the Oilers. He’s laughing because Park is just up there in shorts and a t-shirt 😆

This is mind blowing to me. I’d seen Steven Stamkos in interviews recall goals he’d scored just by given the date and opponent. Wanted to see if he could still do it. 555 career goals later, he still has an insane memory. (No I did not give him a heads up on this Q)

Cole Smith lip reading: “are you fucking retarded” “how in the fuck” “that’s a stick lift” “how fucking stupid can you be”

During a question to Steven Stamkos on how mystifying it is that this team full of potential goal scorers can't score, he seems on the verge of calling some names out, but holds back. The most frustrated I've seen Stamkos since he's been here.

This 1v1 battle between Ozzy Wiesblatt and Jonathan Marchessault ends with brief wrestling match.

A Swiss rapper named Klipan has released a song about Roman Josi and I must inform you that it's a banger.

“Dada 👆” Felix Forsberg

Jonathan Marchessault says he’s happy with his no-move clause, but declines to say whether he’s talked with Barry Trotz about a potential trade.

Barry Trotz emotional as he explains his family needs his time, but hopes he left the Predators in a better spot.

A look at current downtown conditions ahead of the Preds vs Mammoth game at 12:30. Crews are plowing and salting the main plaza, though many of the sidewalks and roads are already slippy. Use caution if you are planning to make it here.
