The group asked the AG to help them get more funding, saying they would donate money to his campaign. Ellison says he “did nothing for them and took nothing from them.” But, according to records, those Somali fraudsters donated thousands to his campaign - right before they were arrested for stealing millions in taxpayer money on Ellison’s watch.
