Hi! It’s Alex! I wanted to share my news. My Cancer checks are all clear! The abnormalities detected over the years in my bones haven’t changed at all for years so the Hospital is happy about that too and so am I! I will have an annual check for the next five years because we wouldn’t get this in the U.K. The news about my surgery is that we can’t do the main surgery due to the risk of permanent nerve damage BUT I have several smaller procedures planned this year at The University of Kansas Health System and will maintain my PT & chiropractic treatments and have better Orthotics from Hanger Clinic which all together will make me stronger, more flexible and less sore. I will feel better and not need my walking sticks! Thank you to everyone who donated and sent me well wishes. There will be a fuller update later this week! Hi! It’s Alex! The rain is terrible here and has been all day. River Corfe has burst its banks and the farm land and road around us is flooded. My Uncle tried to get us out of the farm in his raised 4x4. We’re praying it stops. All the sheep are at our fence and we are looking after them and keeping an eye on the Quails and Willow. 💪🏻🦿🌧️🐏 #AlexandersJourney #Rain #Flooding #CorfeCastle #RiverCorfe

Some sad news though, we have to return my Motability car today as I have been deemed no longer disabled enough. Hi! It’s Alex. Spent most of today revising for the last week of exams. I did have some time helping Dad in the garden. We planted a Laburnum tree to lay Willow to rest in its roots. Willow loved perching in a mature Laburnum tree in our old garden and she can do so again. Surrounded by the beautiful scent of Elderflower.
