Muslim youths were having iftar near a lake in Saswad (Pune Rural) when a mob of Hindutva goons arrived and carried out a violent attack. Around 15–16 people were injured, and some victims are currently receiving treatment in hospital. The incident took place on the evening of March 13. At that time, holding the grudge from the evening argument, some people in the rally started beating an old man who drives an auto and his son.
