Devastating wildfires are sweeping across northeastern Algeria, with Jijel, Béjaïa and Tizi Ouzou among the worst-affected areas. At least 12 people have been killed and 54 injured, while more than 150 fires have been reported across the region. Homes, forests and livelihoods have been destroyed, as firefighters continue battling the flames. May Allāh protect the people of Algeria, grant mercy to those who have lost their lives, and bring safety to everyone affected. 🤲🇩🇿 Keep Algeria in your duʿāʾ.

On this day six years ago, a video of a woman performing Ṭawāf alone around the Kaʿbah touched hearts around the world. She was later identified in reports as Dr ʿAzīzah al-Baṭṭī, a Saudi educator who reportedly performed Ṭawāf for her late husband after completing her ʿiddah. A quiet moment of devotion at the House of Allāh, reminding us that some acts of love and faith need no words. ❤️

🚨 A Muslim man was arrested on Southwest Airlines after a prayer alarm went off on his phone. The Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale was diverted to Atlanta. Upon landing, Atlanta Police boarded the aircraft and removed the passenger. False reports by right wing account claim he was threatening to blow up the plane, when in reality he was praying in 'a foreign language', and it was likely that a prayer app alarm went off on his phone. The muslim passenger was released without charge.
