She made it! She couldn’t get a visa to Spain, but this warrior is now with us in Poland. She survived an acid attack in Afghanistan. I invited her to join me and the brave Iranian women who were blinded by the Islamic Republic. We will stand together on stage to send a clear message: If the Taliban and the Islamic Republic are united in their war against women, then the women of Afghanistan and Iran are united in our fight for freedom.

Don't cry, Baba. 😔💔 Hours before his execution, Alireza Raeisi was allowed one final phone call from Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan. His father was crying on the line. So Alireza, with hours left to live, tried to comfort the man who raised him. "What can I do, Baba. They want to take my whole life from me." Then he asked for one last message: "Say hello to my uncle. Tell him I'm looking after Ramin over there." Ramin was his cousin. The son of that same uncle. He was shot dead in the streets of Isfahan during the protests. Now the regime has hanged the other one. At dawn. In secret. This is what the Islamic Republic calls justice: 18 days of torture. Electric shocks. A forced confession. A trial lasting minutes. An appeal thrown out in less than 48 hours. A gallows built beside a Revolutionary Guard executioner. They think the rope will end the uprising. The rope is only creating more anger towards society. When I talk to any of the family members of those who are in prison on the death road, they have a simple demand: tel the world: #StopExecutionsInIran, demand accountability for these unlawful executions. Sanction the judges and executioners. Silence is complicity. #AlirezaRaeisi

Two women on death row in Iran have recorded audio messages from their prison cells and asked the free world to save their lives. Now I bring their voices to you. Najmeh Amini is 23. An accounting student. Her crime? A post on social media. The regime calls it insulting the prophet. For one post, they will hang her. Mahboubeh Shabani is 33. During the protests, she carried wounded demonstrators to the hospital. Her crime? Saving lives. The regime calls it waging war against God. For saving lives, they will hang her. Let me be honest. Hashtags and tweets alone will not stop these executions. This regime only understands pressure. So I call on American, European, and world leaders: make these executions your red line. Tie every sanction, every deal, every negotiation to the lives of political prisoners. Demand their release now. Impose real costs for every hanging. Najmeh Amini and Mahboubeh Shabani must not die for the crime of freedom. Act now. Before it is too late.

Hey @ZohranMamdani, see the broken brakes. Citi Bikes are falling apart. Maybe fix the things that are actually putting New Yorkers’ lives at risk. Oh busy trying to arrest Netanyahu? I have the names of the men in Iran executing children and some are headed to New York.

Hear what happened; Europe issue visas to those who shake hands with the executioners of Tehran and Kabul. They roll out the red carpet for the men who hang our children. But some of the women in my delegation who are blinded by Islamic Republic and Taliban were denied a visa. They could not even stand here in Madrid. To Pedro Sánchez: a woman shot in her eye by those who you shake their hands has a message for you.

Look at their faces. You can barely read their names and their age without breaking into tears. The Islamic Republic is preparing to hang these innocent women and men. Stopping these executions must be a global emergency. Every second counts. Say their names. Stop the hangings NOW. #StopExecutionsInIran

In Iran, a student harassed by her university’s morality police over her “improper” hijab didn’t back down. She turned her body into a protest, stripping to her underwear and marching through campus—defying a regime that constantly controls women’s bodies. Her act is a powerful reminder of Iranian women’s fight for freedom. Yes we use our bodies like weapons to fight back a regime that kills women for showing their hair. This happened at Tehran’s Science and Research University She has since been arrested by the authorities. Be her voice. #WomanLifeFreedom

I am in Spain to receive an award. But I did not come alone. I invited these women, my heroes, because I believe the real awards belong to them. The Islamic Republic took their eyes for the crime of demanding freedom. They still do not lower their gaze. Europe is legitimizing the Taliban and shaking hands with the mullahs. Before you sign the next deal, sit with these women. Look into their eyes. Answer one question: Why? Their stories are not only about Iran. They are a warning. These women fight so their country can be free, and so your democracies stay safe from the same darkness knocking at your door. Keep your diplomacy. But do not sell our eyes for it. Stand with the women of Iran. Shorter alt (if you want TRIM): I came to Spain to receive an award. The real heroes are beside me. These women lost their eyes to the Islamic Republic. Europe is busy legitimizing the Taliban and the mullahs. Look into their eyes and answer their question: Why? Their fight is for Iran's freedom and for the safety of your democracy. Do not shake the hands that blinded them.

Hello Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, while you smiled in a hijab at a New York event, I was in Federal Court facing the 4th hitman hired by the Islamic Republic to assassinate me, for campaigning for Iranian women to have the same freedom you performed for a photo op. Will you come to court with me in August when I face the 5th hitman? Or does solidarity only work when it doesn't offend the Islamic regime? You wore hijab voluntarily in New York. Women are killed in Iran for taking it off. You are the very woman who, at every opportunity, protests against violence against women, decries gender segregation, and champions "inclusion." Yet here you stand, smiling and wearing a hijab, at an event in New York, in the heart of the West, where men and women are strictly separated. To me and millions of Iranian women, this does not look like a choice. It is no longer "My body, my choice," but rather "My body for votes." They who claim to fight for women's self-determination in the name of feminism voluntarily embrace an ideology that mandates our women cover their hair simply because they are women. They enjoy the prosperity, freedom, and privileges of the Western world, where they may live as autonomous individuals , yet they simultaneously accept that other women should not be afforded the same rights. #LetUsTalk

A woman cuts her hair at her sister’s funeral in #Iran, because the regime shot her sister in the head. Let me be clear with Western female politicians, especially those in leadership positions in Europe: Do not cut your hair in symbolic solidarity with Iranian women. Cut your ties with our killers. Believe me cutting your hair for Instagram solidarity, doesn’t scare dictators. It doesn’t save lives. It just makes you feel better. Stop legitimizing our terrorist regime. Her name was Melika Dastyab. She was 21, a musician, economics student and she was dead by security forces while her sister stood next to her. That’s not a hashtag. That’s a crime against humanity.

This is what enforced hijab looks like. In a clinic, a woman refuses to provide medical care to another woman because she is not wearing a hijab. “I’m in charge here. You have to wear a hijab,” she tells her. The woman refuses, drops her appointment number, and walks out. Regime supporters are now circulating the video as an example of how women who reject compulsory hijab should be treated. But no amount of intimidation can erase what is happening across Iran: millions of women are refusing to comply. Iranian women have faced detention, violence, torture, and even death for refusing to surrender their freedom. They have not backed down. The regime can enforce rules. It cannot force women to believe in them. #Iran

After years of being banned from entering a stadium in my own country, for no crime other than being a woman, this is how I walked in. This was the World Cup FIFA 2026 between England and Panama but for me, it was beyond that. You have to be a woman from Iran or Afghanistan to truly understand this emotion. For whom this simple act, walking into a stadium, moving with joy, showing my hair, sitting next to men, was not just forbidden. I was beaten for it. Imprisoned for it. Humiliated for it. Exiled for it. And even in exile, I became a target for multiple assassination plots. And now people lecture me: "Don't politicize football." I have a question: which part of my body hasn't already been politicized by the Islamic Republic? My hair? My voice? My seat in a stadium? They turned our entire existence into a political battlefield. Every inch of a woman was a crime scene under their law. And now I'm supposed to just sit back, eat a hot dog, and enjoy the game? I did enjoy the game. England won. But walking through those gates, that was the real victory.

Hello everyone, this is a message from inside prison, from a young Iranian woman who is about to be executed. Please help me to amplify her voice before they hang her. 💔 «Remember my name, maybe I will not be able to speak again.» This is the voice of Najmeh Amini, a 23 year old accounting student, speaking from Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad. In her voice message she says: «Be my voice. I am an innocent girl, a young woman full of hopes and dreams.» Najmeh is one of the detainees of the January uprising . She spent months in detention without a verdict, denied access to a lawyer of her choice and pressured during interrogation. In August, her trial was held at the Revolutionary Court of Mashhad on charges of «assembly and collusion» and «insulting sacred values.» She said in her voice message that her death sentence was issued on September 16, 2026. In her own words: «People, I only want justice and the chance to defend myself.» And this is her dream: «Before the rope ends my life, let me see my Iran prosperous and free.» Be her voice and all of political prisoners, especially those at risk of execution. #NajmehAmini #StopExecutionsInIran

Six months ago, I filmed women running freely in the New York Marathon and dreamed of seeing this in Iran. Today, that dream is coming true. One day, a free Iran will too. Four years ago, Mahsa Jina Amini was killed in the custody of Iran’s morality police for wearing inappropriate hijab. Now look at Iran. This is tody, Iranian women are running through the streets of Tehran with their hair uncovered, together, visible, unafraid. They wanted Mahsa’s death to frighten women back into silence. Instead, her name became a symbol of a generation that refuses to disappear. You can police a woman’s hair. You can arrest her. You can threaten her. But you cannot imprison courage. Woman. Life. Freedom.

Let me introduce you to another Iranian woman who received 74 lashes for removing her hijab in public. A woman from Tehran sent me this video showing the scars left on her body. Her crime? Refusing to cover her hair. Mohammad Marandi, one of the Islamic Republic’s defenders in Western media, justified the flogging of women by saying: “It’s not like hitting a horse. It was a very light strike, in a particular way.” Look at her wounded body. Does this look like a light strike to you? 74 lashes. For showing her hair. In the 21st century. To those who still deny the suffering of Iranian women: Look at these scars. Look at what this regime does to women who demand control over their own bodies. The Islamic Republic whips women in Persian and then tries to justify it in English. We will not let them hide the scars. We will not let them silence these women.
