Those fighting hardest to preserve and even expand the flood of foreign workers brought into the United States through the H-1B program hide behind the same lie: America allegedly has a “skills shortage,” we must import the “best and brightest,” and without H-1B labor we supposedly cannot compete with the world. That narrative is not just wrong, it is deliberately deceptive. The lie is exposed by the VERY H-1B applications these employers file, which show routine, interchangeable jobs at suppressed wages that qualified Americans can and do fill. This is not about competitiveness or talent. It is about replacing American workers, undercutting American wages, and locking U.S. citizens out of their own labor market. The next time someone repeats this flat-out false narrative, tell them to stop talking and start reading the employer applications themselves.

20 State Attorneys General are suing to block the administration from protecting American workers. The President’s proclamation explicitly documents how the H-1B program has been used to harm American workers through displacement, wage suppression, and systemic abuse. The $100K fee wasn’t random. It wasn’t symbolic. It was a deterrent. And instead of addressing that harm… 20 Attorneys General are fighting to remove the very safeguard intended to help American workers. They didn’t dispute the harm. They didn’t deny the abuse. They just sued to keep the foreign pipeline open. I am willing to work with any Attorney General who is committed to protecting American citizens by supporting the administration’s efforts and holding employers accountable for practices that have and continue to harm American workers.
