Guntur-based startup Magnumwings successfully completed unmanned flight trials of its V2 2.0 Electric Air Taxi. 🔹The V2 2.0 prototype was developed in Andhra Pradesh. 🔹Earlier, the company successfully demonstrated structural testing of the V2 platform. 🔹Magnumwings has now completed full-scale unmanned flight testing on the same platform. 🔹The company becomes one of the first in India to publicly demonstrate flying air taxi technology. 🔹The V2 2.0 is designed for short-distance urban and regional electric mobility. 🔹Current prototype specifications: Approximate endurance: 45 minutes Flight range: Around 30 kilometers 🔹Next phase includes certification procedures and human-passenger flight trials. 🔹Human-passenger testing will begin after regulatory approvals are completed. 🔹Magnumwings aims to launch initial services by the end of this year. 🔹The Advanced Air Mobility sector could create jobs in Andhra Pradesh. 🔹Opportunities include aircraft manufacturing, battery systems, electronics, composites, software, testing, maintenance, training, and operations.
