"A severe lack of knowledge.โ€ I wonder how our 21 year-old Senator would go with this CLIMATE QUIZ โ€ฆ. 1. If Australia where to go Net Zero by 2050 (and assuming C02 is the control knob for global temperatures as per the IPCC estimates) to the nearest 1/100th of a degree, what will be the difference average global temperatures at the end of this century ? 2. As a percentage, what is the level of CO2 currently in the atmosphere? 3. Australia has 21 GW of coal-fired capacity left, all of which is to be eliminated by 2050 under Net Zero. What is the total capacity in GW of the new coal-fired power stations under construction in China ? 4. Australia mines around 390 million tonnes of coal annually. How many million tonnes of coal does India mine annually, and by how many millions of tonnes are they planning to increase it by over the next 5 years 5. As a percentage of C02, what is the ideal level of Co2 in the atmosphere. 6. Explain the chemical difference between "Carbon pollution" and the CO2 that turns still water in sparkling mineral water. 7. Of Australiaโ€™s total "emissions" that are planned to be reduced to Net Zero - what percentage of these total emmissions come from electricity generation ? 8. To the nearest degree, what is the current average global temperature ? 9. To the nearest degree, what is the ideal average global temperature ? 10. Being from South Australia, in what year did the highest temperature ever record in SA occur. 11. In what year did Adelaide experience its longest run of extremely hot days ? 12. According to the peer-reviewed research, what has been trend in rainfall over past 150 years in Adelaide? 13. What has been the trend in the number of Australian cyclones (both severe and non severe) since 1970 - are they increasing, decreasing or steady 14. Over the past century, is the area of Australia beung burnt annually by bushfires increasing, decreasing or steady. 15. What is the biggest killer; extreme hot weather or extreme cold weather? 16. How will Net Zero be achieved in the agriculture sector, where the "emmissions" to be reduced to Net Zero come from the burps and farts 17. Explain how the subsidies work for roof-top solar 18. What will be the penalty payable on a new Ford Ranger in 4 years time under the so-called vehicle efficiency standards If have such a lack of knowledge, that you canโ€™t answer questions, you have no place commenting on Net Zero and no place speaking about in Parliament.

I have seen some desperate NPP propagandists share a video of the Upper West Regional Hospital, with the claim that it was started by Former President Kufour and completed by President Akufo-Addo. Although the history of the Upper West Regional Hospital is well-known and a matter of public record, it is important to set the records straight so that unsuspecting Ghanaians are not hoodwinked by this dubious propaganda. 1. The 160-bed Upper West Regional Hospital project was one of the nine (9) hospitals which were awarded to Euroget De Invest in the year 2010 by the Government of Ghana. 2. The project was conceptualized and initiated by the Kufour government as part of what is called โ€œThe Hospitals Projectโ€. Euroget De Invest was engaged by the Government of Ghana to design and build 8 hospitals for the Ministry of Health and 1 hospital for the Ministry of Defense. 3. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Government of Ghana and Euroget De Invest for the nine (9) hospital projects in April 2008. 4. Cabinet gave approval for the Euroget hospital projects on 29th October 2008. 5. On 12th November, 2008, the Parliament of Ghana approved the loan for the Euroget hospital projects, an amount of $339 million dollars which was to be sourced from Egypt. The Kufour government was then voted out of office. See 6. The contracts for the projects were signed between the Mills government and Euroget in 2010. 7. On 31st July, 2010, then Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama cut the sod for the Upper West Regional Hospital. 8. However, construction of the project could not commence due to the inability of the company, Euroget De Invest to secure funding from Egypt. This undue delay was mainly occasioned by the Arab spring upheaval in Egypt. Thus, the Upper West regional hospital could not start on schedule due to lack of funds. See 9. Through the hard work of the Mills/Mahama government, approval was given to Euroget De Invest and funding was secured from a Barclays PLC- ABSA SA consortium to finance the project in August 2012. See 10. In November 2012, just before the elections, then running mate to Akufo-Addo, Alhaji Bawumia visited the project site with the media and mocked John Mahama and the NDC for deceiving the people of Upper West region. See 11. Actual construction began in 2014 under the Mahama/NDC government with funding from the Barclays-ABSA bank consortium. By the time John Mahama was leaving office, the project was about 95%. These facts are verifiable and indisputable. 13. It is true that the project has its roots in the Kufour government. It was in 2008, that the MoU and original loan agreement was signed and approved. However, the funding arrangement envisaged under the Kufour government didnโ€™t materialize. The contracts were signed and the sod cut for the project by the Mills/Mahama government. More importantly, Funding was secured in August 2012 under the Mills/Mahama government. Construction began in 2014 under the Mahama government and was over 95% complete in 2016 before John Mahama left office. 14. The Upper West Regional hospital project should have been fully completed and commissioned latest by 2017 but was unduly delayed by President Akufo-Addo and commissioned in 2019. 15. While it is fair to give President Kuffuor the credit for conceptualizing and initiating the project, the chunk of the credit must go to the Mills/Mahama governments which worked with Euroget to secure funding for the project and supervised the construction of the project from ground zero to about 95% completion stage. 16. Akufo-Addo and Bawumia knows next to nothing about this project and contributed very little to its completion. SAMMY GYAMFI ESQ.

โšก๏ธBREAKING: Hamas Statement - Major Violations by the Occupation of the Gaza Ceasefire Agreement โ€“ Phase One: Despite the ceasefire agreement signed on January 17, 2025, which went into effect on the morning of January 19, 2025, the zionist occupation and its Prime Minister Netanyahu have sought, after the conclusion of Phase One, to resume aggression and crimes against our people. Today, Netanyahu seeks to hide behind the American position, despite the fact that his violations of the ceasefire agreement never ceased from the very first moment. The occupationโ€™s conduct and breaches during the first phase of the agreement prove beyond doubt that its government was intent on collapsing the agreement and actively worked toward this goal. In this context, Netanyahuโ€™s recent decisions to adopt American proposals to extend Phase One, with arrangements contradicting the agreement, are an exposed attempt to evade the agreement and avoid entering Phase Two negotiations. Below is a summary of the most significant violations of the ceasefire agreement by the occupation during Phase One: First โ€“ Violations Related to Humanitarian Relief, Shelter, and Protocols: 1- Not allowing the entry of 50 fuel trucks daily as stipulated in the agreement. Instead, only 978 trucks entered over 42 days, averaging 23 trucks per day. 2- Banning the commercial sector from importing fuel of all types, despite an explicit provision in the agreement permitting this. 3- Allowing only 15 mobile homes (caravans) to enter out of the 60,000 agreed upon, in addition to a limited number of tents. 4- Preventing the entry of heavy machinery necessary for clearing rubble and recovering bodiesโ€”only 9 machines were allowed in, while the sector needs at least 500. 5- Blocking the entry of construction materials needed for infrastructure rehabilitation and hospital restoration. 6- Preventing the entry of essential medical equipment to rehabilitate hospitals, and allowing only 5 ambulances. 7- Refusing to permit the entry of civil defense equipment. 8- Preventing the operation of the power plant and blocking the entry of necessary supplies for its rehabilitation. 9- Blocking the entry of cash liquidity into banks and refusing to exchange damaged currency notes. Second โ€“ Field Violations: 10- Occupation forces continued advancing and encroaching beyond withdrawal lines almost daily, especially in the Philadelphi Corridor, exceeding agreed limits by 300 to 500 meters, accompanied by gunfire, killings of civilians, home demolitions, and land bulldozing. 11- Delaying the withdrawal from Al-Rashid and Salah Al-Din streets, preventing displaced persons from returning for two full days, in clear violation of the agreement. 12- Preventing fishermen from returning to the sea, shooting at them, and arresting some of them. 13- Daily flights of occupation aircraft during prohibited hours (10โ€“12 hours daily), with 210 violations recorded, including various drones. The total number of field violations reached 962, distributed as follows: โ€ข Martyrs: 116 โ€ข Injured: 490 โ€ข Aircraft violations: 210 โ€ข Gunfire 77 โ€ข Vehicle incursions: 45 โ€ข Bombardment and targeting incidents: 37 โ€ข Arrests of drivers and fishermen: 5 โ€ข Total violations: 962 Third โ€“ Violations Related to Prisoners: 14- Deliberate delays in prisoner releases, despite the agreement stipulating release one hour after the exchange of occupation prisoners. 15- Preventing the release of the final batch of 600 prisoners in Phase One for five days, under false pretexts. 16- Forcing released prisoners on February 15 and February 26 to wear clothing with Nazi and racist connotations. 17- Failure to disclose the names of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners from Gaza, revealing only 2,400 names. 18- Subjecting released prisoners to beatings, humiliation, torture, and starvation until the moment of their release. 19- Refusing to release elderly prisoner Siham Musa Abu Salem (70 years old) from Gaza.

On an average, a household in urban India generates approx. 10 gms. of MLP waste every single day. These are typically the covers of various food products ranging from tetra-pack cartons, masala powder covers, milk powder, potato chips - various other FMCG consumables. MLP (Multi - layered packaging material) are NON recyclable plastic waste. Since it cannot be recycled, this waste has NO purchase value at the scrap shops. Even rag pickers ignore it. Every other waste like thick-thin plastic, paper, metal, electric , electronic etc. have resale value ... But not this bloke. Thus the MLP inevitably ends up on landfills, contaminating the soil and eventually, during flows into a water body on its journey to the ocean. There it hurts the marine life , breaks into micro plastics under the UV light rays from the Sun. In a classical RSVP, it gets into the clouds alongwith evaporated water and returns back to earth in rain water. Through water, all of us and the animals and birds, now have micro plastics in our bodies. Many diseases like cancer, etc have been attributed to this non-organic invader inside our bodies. Now, we cannot wish away the MLPs. They do a fantastic job in keeping the potato chips fresh and crispy for 6 months. A boon to the supply-chain of FMCG products. They are available as a raw material to the food processing. FMCG industries in abundance. Also, an environment friendly commercially viable alternate material in large quantity is not seen in the distant horizon. So, along with 2 other professionals we launched our start-up to address this problem. Ui- Unified Intelligence Pvt Ltd is the execution wing of our venture. Vaspar foundation is our not-for-profit foundation that lodges the innovation center. Here we are always working on developing multiple new products and solutions aimed at creating large scale employment. At the factory MLP waste covers brought in from dry waste collection centres are shredded, washed and then loaded on a sheet making unit that presses out 8'x4' sized sheets of a variety of thickness. As the sheets cool down, we get a light weight thermoset sheet that are extremely strong and have fantastic mechanical and thermal properties. The MLP waste are from food grade plastic and thus have almost zero VOC. Also, the sheets are wonderful heat insulators. We sandwich 3 sheets of these between honeycomb structures made of the same material to create structurally integrated construction grade panels. These 100 mm thick panels are then covered on all sides with 8mm cement boards to form a skin. These are ready to paint surface, are standard construction materials with fire resistance rating of 2 hours. These panels become the walls and roof of our building. The floor is a 6" concrete layer. We build homes, terrace living space, dormitories , class rooms, auditoriums, compound walls, public toilets etc. with these panels. At the rate of 10 grams of MLP packets that we throw out as waste from our homes per day, in a single year each home generates 3,650 grams (10 grams x 365 days) So if an apartment has 10 dwelling units, in a year the residents discharge 36.50 Kgs of MLP waste into the environment Last week we installed this tiny security cabin in our Apartments in Bangalore. There are 10 flats here . This 5'x5'x8' cabin was constructed with our panels in under 6 hours. The weight of the MLP waste consumed in the panels for the cabin is 500kgs. THAT is around 14 years of #MLP waste discharged together by all the VIRGO residents - is now stored in the walls of the cabin as our panels. The cabin has a life of 50 years. We 10 families , in our apartment thus atoned for our 'plastic-guilt' to an extent. For inquiries, E Mail [email protected]

The "Samruddhi" Expressway of Maharashtra โ€“ A Dream Fulfilled! In my eyes, the dream of a prosperous Maharashtra was always aliveโ€ฆ Today, I was elated to inaugurate the last phase of 'Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg' (Igatpuri to Amne, Thane - 76 km) and Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 South Side on Sion-Panvel Mahamarg in Igatpuri, Nashik. Back in 2014, we dreamt of a transformative highway that would redefine connectivity and prosperity in Maharashtra. Today, that dream stands realised! This is more than just a road โ€” itโ€™s Maharashtraโ€™s Economic Lifeline. Aptly named after Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray, this Samruddhi Mahamarg has now seamlessly connected 24 districts directly to JNPT. And soon, it will extend further to the upcoming Vadhavan Port โ€” unlocking unprecedented economic potential for our state. Samruddhi Mahamarg will not just serve as a route for travel, but will become the backbone of Maharashtraโ€™s economic development. The extensive machinery involved in this project was also specially appreciated. Built at a cost of โ‚น55,335 crore, this 701-kilometre-long expressway was completed in record time. It was noted that the success of this project is largely due to the valuable contributions of MSRDC, the Public Works Department, engineers, officials, contractors, machine owners, and the thousands of labourers who worked tirelessly day and night. A 76-kilometre stretch of the Samruddhi Mahamarg passes through Nashik and Thane districts. The tunnel near Igatpuri, which is 8 kilometres long, is the longest in the State and the widest in the country. A decision has been made to undertake plantation drives along the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Palkhi route through the Forest Department. Advanced technology has been employed to make the expressway accident-free. The 1st phase of the Samruddhi Mahamarg was inaugurated by Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the 2nd phase was inaugurated by the then CM and now DCM Eknath Shinde ji, and the 3rd phase by Minister Dadaji Bhuse. Today, the final phase of this grand highway has been inaugurated collectively by all representatives of the MahaYuti Sarkar. The Samruddhi Mahamarg has been completed in record time, and similarly, work on the access-controlled Shaktipeeth Mahamargโ€”set to transform Marathwadaโ€™s economyโ€”will begin soon. To ease congestion on the Vashi Bridge over Thane Creek, the newly inaugurated Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 on the Sion-Panvel Highway marks a major step. The 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will also be completed shortly. We have not only inaugurated an expressway, but we laid a strong foundation for future infrastructure development. These projects are not just about reducing geographical distancesโ€”they are about propelling the Stateโ€™s journey of progress forward. As I drove on this expressway today, I recalled all the challenges we faced, but the resolve remained unshaken. And this dream has been fulfilled! This is not just a roadโ€ฆ Itโ€™s a path leading to prosperity, progress, and endless possibilities. DCM Eknath Shinde ji, DCM Ajitdada Pawar, Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Minister Shivendra Raje Bhonsle, Minister Narhari Zirwal, MoS Meghna Bordikar, MLC Niranjan Davkhare, MLA Kisan Kathore and other dignitaries were present. Palghar is becoming Maharashtra's next growth engine. This district is not just a part of Maharashtra's growth story. It is the chapter that will define it. Under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, projects that once seemed distant possibilities are today taking concrete shape. Reviewed key aspects of the proposed Vadhavan Port at Chinchani Beach, including internal road network, forest clearances, power supply, rail connectivity, land acquisition, water supply, skill development and compensation for fishermen. Spread over 1,448 hectares with an estimated cost of โ‚น76,220 crore, this greenfield port will handle next-generation vessels with a 20-metre deep draft, making it capable of berthing the world's largest ships, something no Indian port can offer today. At three times the capacity of JNPA, it will rank among the world's top 10 ports and is expected to generate 10 lakh jobs. What matters equally to me is how we build this. Through open dialogue, fair rehabilitation, ITI upgradation, skill training and a dedicated fisheries institute, we are committed to ensuring that the people of this land, our tribal communities, our fishermen, our youth, are not just witnesses to this progress but its primary beneficiaries. Also inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed the project layout of the Boisar Station under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. Work is progressing well and officials have been instructed to maintain pace and quality within the decided timelines. Once operational, Boisar will connect to BKC in under thirty minutes, opening up this entire region economically. This is a project that will genuinely change the character of Palghar. Also reviewed the site of the proposed offshore Airport in Palghar district, which is going to be India's first offshore airport. This project adds a critical third dimension to this connectivity picture. Situated in proximity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor, the Bullet Train, the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, it will significantly improve connectivity while easing the growing passenger load on Mumbai Airport. The pre-feasibility report has confirmed the site as viable and the DPR has been ordered today. Also discussed the MMRDA-developed Narangi Creek Bridge, a โ‚น850 crore, 4.10 km project that will directly connect Vasai-Virar with Saphale, Palghar and Boisar, reducing travel distance by nearly 40 km and travel time by around 45 minutes. Also held detailed discussions on the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, a proposed six-lane project worth approximately โ‚น58,754 crore that once complete will directly connect to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, making travel between South Mumbai and Ahmedabad faster, safer and more convenient. Inspected the construction and reviewed progress on the Vadodara-Mumbai section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, one of India's most ambitious infrastructure undertakings. A defining feature of this 8-lane greenfield corridor is its direct connectivity to JNPA, enabling faster, more efficient and cost-effective freight movement from North India and giving a major boost to the country's logistics chain. It will also offer a reliable alternative to the congested Thane-Bhiwandi-Ghodbunder routes, with travel time between Vadodara and Mumbai set to reduce from 8 hours to approximately 4 once complete. Vadhavan Port, Bullet Train, Offshore Airport, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Uttan-Virar Sea Link, Narangi Creek Bridge, Virar-Alibaug Corridor. Each project is significant on its own. Together, they are building the Fourth Mumbai, a new economic centre of gravity rising in Palghar, under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the resolve of a government that has cleared decades of stalled decisions. Palghar is emerging as a major growth engine for Maharashtra, opening new opportunities in ports, transport, industry, exports and employment. This is the Maharashtra we are building, and Palghar is leading the way. Minister Ganesh Naik ji, Minister Nitesh Rane, MP Dr Hemant Savara, MLA Rajendra Gavit and senior officials were present. ๐Ÿ™ เคœเคฏ เคฎเคนเคพเคฐเคพเคทเฅเคŸเฅเคฐ Ganesh Naik Nitesh Rane Dr. Hemant Savara Mp Rajendra Gavit Official #Maharashtra #Palghar #InfrastructureDevelopment

Seriously, what a sour grape. I've spent the summer in Djibouti, and my observations and conversations with locals contradict everything you've said. While in Djibouti, I stopped at Ali Sabieh station, a minor station along the Addis Ababa-Djibouti railway that serves as a flagship project of China's Belt and Road Initiative and links landlocked Ethiopia with coastal Djibouti. It is Africa's first electrified trans-boundary railway. (Video 1, Picture 2) Manager of the Ali Sabieh passenger station, 32-year-old Souleiman Youssouf Ahmed, told me that the railway has greatly improved the safety and convenience of travel between Djibouti and Ethiopia. (Picture 3) According to Souleiman, Djiboutians flock to the Ethiopian city of Dire Dawa throughout the summer to escape the stifling heat. Minibuses were the only option from Dire Dawa to Ali Sabieh before the railway construction. While only designed to hold ten people, the minibus was frequently crammed with twenty. The minibus shared the road with the freight trucks; accidents were common. "The train cuts travel time by two hours while also providing passengers with the added bonuses of comfort and security. At its peak in the summer, the train has carried as many as 950 passengers in a single day," said Souleiman. Fatouma Houssein Daher, a Djiboutian girl who frequently takes the train to Ethiopia, expressed her appreciation for the railway, saying that it represents the friendship between China and Africa. "Taking the train to Ethiopia is a low-cost and comfortable option. It's lovely that the Chinese have helped us create our railway," she said. She added that she didn't understand why Western nations consistently disparage the railway that has made life easier for Djiboutians. Since it was put into operation in January 2018, the railway has seen 1,824 passenger trains pass through carrying nearly 530,900 people and 6,133 cargo trains with about 7,328,500 tonnes of goods. It has also cut the transportation time for goods from more than three days to less than 20 hours and reduced the cost by at least one third, substantially facilitating imports and exports from Ethiopia, a landlocked country in the Horn of Africa. So far, the Ethiopia-Djibouti railway has created 55,000 jobs in Ethiopia and Djibouti and provided training opportunities for more than 3,000 professionals, laying a solid foundation for the development of the railway industry in the two countries.

THE PRESIDENT NAMED HIM.. THE NUMBERS BACK IT UP.. NOW HE JOINS NovaRed Mining, he is a Legend ! Top facts to put on screen 1. President George W. Bush recognized Ed Kostenski at the White House on July 2, 2004, in the East Room. Bush called him out by name, said Ed started Nationwide Equipment โ€œat my kitchen table,โ€ and used him as a real American small-business success story. Bush also said Ed was adding 14 employees, planned to hire 6 more, and was investing $300,000 into expansion. 2. Founded Nationwide Equipment in 1983. EXIM described Nationwide as a Jacksonville-based company specializing in earthmoving, road-building, and mining equipment exports. 3. Global reach: 40+ countries by 2002, over 60 countries in later company materials. EXIM said Nationwide was selling to over 40 countries in 2002; the Nationwide catalog says the company serviced customers in over 60 countries. 4. Over $1 billion raised globally. Forbes reported that Kostenskiโ€™s group raised over $1 billion in private funding for construction projects and equipment. 5. Served on the U.S. Export-Import Bank advisory committee. In 2005, EXIM named Edward Kostenski, president, CEO, and founder of Nationwide Equipment, to its 10-member Sub-Saharan Africa Advisory Committee. EXIM also stated that the committee advised on strengthening U.S. exports to Africa. 6. EXIM scale: EXIM said it helped finance $17.8 billion of U.S. exports in fiscal year 2004. This is EXIMโ€™s institutional scale, not Edโ€™s personal financing number โ€” but it shows the level of export-finance world he was connected to. 7. Nigeria monorail project: $98,938,000. Nationwide Finance says it raised over $98 million in initial debt funding for Phase 1 of the Rivers State Monorail Project in Nigeria. 8. Monorail project scale: Phase 1 covered 14 kilometers, was programmed to transport over 10 million people annually, and had mapped total project costs in excess of $700 million. 9. EXIM-backed Nigeria heavy-equipment transaction: In 2002, EXIM supported Nationwideโ€™s export of used trucks, cranes, and heavy construction equipment to Nigeria with a $1.2 million medium-term guarantee policy. 10. Presidential โ€œEโ€ Star Award โ€” 2010. The U.S. Department of Commerce named Nationwide Equipment Company of Jacksonville, Florida, as a recipient of the 2010 Presidentโ€™s โ€œE Starโ€ Award. Commerce describes the Presidential โ€œEโ€ Awards as the highest U.S. government honor for increasing exports. 11. Presidential โ€œEโ€ Award recognition. Nationwideโ€™s catalog lists the 2001 Presidentโ€™s โ€œEโ€ Award for Excellence in Exports; an EXIM release separately says Nationwide was awarded the U.S. Presidentโ€™s โ€œEโ€ Award for Exports in 1998. To stay clean, say: โ€œPresidential โ€˜Eโ€™ Award export recognition.โ€ 12. 2011 U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Award. Listed in Nationwideโ€™s awards page. 13. Two-time Florida Governorโ€™s Award for Excellence in Exports โ€” 2004 and 2010. Listed in Nationwideโ€™s awards page. 14. 2004 International Trader of the Year Award. Listed in Nationwideโ€™s awards page. 15. Now joining NovaRed Mining. NovaRed announced Kostenskiโ€™s appointment to its Advisory Board, stating that he brings experience across mining equipment, infrastructure, energy, logistics, and project finance. NovaRedโ€™s Wilmac copper-gold project covers 16,078 hectares in British Columbia, about 10 km west of Hudbayโ€™s Copper Mountain Mine. This is Ed Kostenski. President George W. Bush called him out at the White House โ€” a man who started Nationwide Equipment at his kitchen table and built it into a global industrial company. Founded in 1983. Operating across 60+ countries. Mining. Construction. Marine. Oil and gas. Dredging. Heavy equipment. Infrastructure. This man did not just sell machines. He helped move nations forward. His group raised over $1 billion globally for construction projects, equipment, and industrial development. He served on the advisory committee of the U.S. Export-Import Bank โ€” Americaโ€™s official export-credit agency, connected to billions in U.S. global trade support. He helped finance major international infrastructure โ€” including $98,938,000 raised for Phase 1 of the Rivers State Monorail Project in Nigeria. That project covered 14 kilometers, was designed to move over 10 million people annually, and had mapped total project costs of more than $700 million. Then come the awards. Presidential โ€œEโ€ Award export recognition. 2010 Presidential โ€œE Starโ€ Award. 2011 U.S. Department of Commerce Export Achievement Award. Florida Governorโ€™s Export Awards in 2004 and 2010. 2004 International Trader of the Year. White House recognition. EXIM Bank advisory service. Over $1 billion raised. Projects in mining, energy, rail, marine, and global infrastructure. And nowโ€ฆ Ed Kostenski is joining NRED. At the exact moment copper is becoming one of the most important resources on Earth. Copper powers AI. Copper powers data centers. Copper powers robotics. Copper powers EVs. Copper powers defense systems. Copper powers the energy grid. NRED is not just adding an advisor. NRED is adding a man who understands how massive industrial projects are financed, equipped, shipped, built, and executed. This is not just a man. THIS MAN IS A LEGEND. DYOR ! Add to your watch list !

National Guard Captain Blows Up J6 Narrative, Accuses U.S. Govt of Lying to the American People "I'm here today to aid the subcommittee in resolving factual errors in the official record of what happened on January 6th, 2021, specifically regarding the alleged District of Columbia National Guard delayed response caused by a critical presidentially appointed, Senate-confirmed Pentagon senior officials," Captain Timothy Nick testified under oath on Capitol Hill on Wednesday. [...] "First, I want to explain my role on January 6th. I was assigned as aid to camp the personal assistant to Major General William Walker, the commanding General of DC National Guard. It was my only second day on the job (!). Please focus on alleged facts found in the November 16th, 2021 Department of Defense Inspector General's multidisciplinary review into the DC National Guard response and Department of Defense's role that day." "I can say unequivocally that the Inspector General's Review is riddled with inaccuracies, misstatements, and perhaps false flags and narratives regarding how critical Pentagon senior officials responded when our republic was under great stress (!!)." "For instance, during a conference call at 2:31 PM with members of United States Army, US Capitol Police, Metropolitan Police Department, District of Columbia Government, and US Secret Service Uniform Division, the US Army's Lieutenant General Walter Piatt, Director of Army staff and the Army's Lieutenant General Charles Flynn, Director of Chief of Staff of Operations were on the call." Also was Colonel John Lubas, executive officer to the Secretary of the Army." "The Army FALSELEY DENIED that General Flynn was ever on the call. This is false and material on its face. Lieutenant Flynn was on the call and even participated in discussions. The defense inspector's review also rounds language papering over the fact that Lieutenant General Piatt, Lieutenant General Flynn, while on the call discussed how they did not like the OPTICS." "That is a direct quote, and they stated it would be in their best military advice to recommend to the Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy, to deny the request from Command General William Walker to deploy the DC National Guard and aid US Capitol Police in restoring restoration of Order Liberty on Capitol Hill." "In addition, former [Army] Secretary Ryan McCarthy claims he was on a two three 1:00 PM call and spoke on that call. This is FALSE, unless he was in the room shadowing the call and he did not speak nor identify himself." "He was not on the call. He was en route to Washington, DC Regional office at the Federal Bureau of Investigation to support that agent's concept of operations plan for January 6th." "He went on the claim that he called and spoke to Major General Walker at least twice, ordering the deployment of the DC National Guard. This is also FALSE. At no time did General Walker take any calls, nor did we ever hear from the secretary on any of the ongoing conference calls or the secure video teleconferencing throughout the day." "This I know because I was with the Command General the entire time recording events throughout the day. Major General Walker told by staff officers to stand by with respect to deploying to the Capitol Hill. Only at 5:09 PM in the early evening, which I wrote down in my wheel book, was the DC Guard given an order to deploy and move to the Capitol to assist Capitol Police." "We arrived too late. One American laid dead with other sisters and brothers injured, including federal and local law enforcement officers. We were ready and standing by. I know if we were able to deploy immediately, when General Walker made the request, the National Guard could have helped and civil disturbance and restored public order quickly." "The Army National Guard motto was always ready, always there. The DC National Guard was ready to help and assist Capitol Police, but we were NOT ALLOWED to do our job due to paralyzed decision-making by acting Secretary of Defense,Chris Miller and Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy..." "This led to a crisis in federal leadership at the Pentagon and delayed the DC response by 3 hours and 19 minutes." This is critical testimony exposing the U.S. government as perpetrating a false narrative of events for January 6 to frame Donald Trump as participating in a treasonous "insurrection" when the opposite was true. The President of the United States had pre-authorized the deployment of 10,000 National Guard troops and delegated this responsibility to the Secretary of the Army. But instead of deploying National Guard troops to secure the capitol during the election challenges in the Electoral College, the Pentagon delayed dispatching troops over an alleged concern for "optics," even as the same government would later call January 6 'an existential threat to democracy.' The U.S. government allowed the January 6 riots to happen in order to frame Donald Trump and his supporters as 'insurrectionists.' It is simple as that.

๐Ÿšง The NJ 295/42 Direct Connection Project: A Modern-Day "Big Dig" Nightmare? Why Is This Highway Interchange Taking FOREVER? ๐Ÿ˜ค๐Ÿ—ž๏ธ If you're a South Jersey commuter stuck in the eternal traffic jam at the I-295/I-76/Route 42 interchange in Bellmawr, you know the pain. This "Direct Connection" project meant to fix one of NJ's most congested and crash-prone spots by building elevated bridges and direct ramps started construction in March 2013 That's 12+ years in (as of September 2025), with full completion now delayed to 2032. We're talking 19 years total for what should be a straightforward highway upgrade! Original plan? Done by 2021 But nopeโ€”utility issues, right-of-way fights, and a massive retaining wall collapse in 2021 (costing $90M+ to fix) have turned it into a black hole of bureaucracy and delays. At a cool $900 million (and climbing), it's already rivaling Boston's infamous Big Dig in absurdity But here's the kicker: Compare this to ACTUAL modern marvels built in under 15 years. These beasts involved insane engineering, harsh conditions, and billions in costsโ€”yet they got done FASTER than our little NJ interchange! Check this out: - Channel Tunnel (Chunnel): 6 years (1988โ€“1994), $21B. Digging a 31-mile undersea link between UK and France? Met in the middle despite floods and fires - Hoover Dam: 5 years (1931โ€“1936), $1B (adjusted). Taming the Colorado River with millions of cubic yards of concrete in 120ยฐF heat! During the Depression! - Millau Viaduct (tallest bridge on Earth): 3 years (2001โ€“2004), $400M. "Rolling" a massive cable-stayed span over a windy French gorge - Mini Sky City(57-story prefab skyscraper): Just 19 days assembly (2015), $160M! Even ancient wonders like the Great Pyramid of Giza took only 10โ€“14 years (~2580 BCE) with 20,000 workers and copper tools hauling 2.3 million stone blocks. No cranes, no computer, just ramps and grit. And the Colossus of Rhodes? 12 years for a 108-ft bronze statue on a tiny island The 295/42 project? It's "only" reconfiguring ramps and bridges for 150,000 daily drivers, improving safety (crunches are 7x the state average), and adding noise walls/utilities. Sure, it's in a tight urban spot near homes and a cemetery, but with modern tech, lasers, and endless fundingโ€”why 19 years? Delays from compressible soils, groundwater "boat sections," and that Wall 22 fiasco (slid due to sandy foundations) are legit, but come on, NJDOTโ€” we've got robots building space stations faster! South Jersey deserves better. This endless construction is shaking foundations, clogging locals, and burning cash while traffic weaves at 35 mph. When it's done (if ever), it'll be greatโ€”direct 60 mph flow to Philly, Shore, and Delaware. But at this rate, my grandkids might be driving it

Tested FSD v12.3 in downtown Chicago yesterday โ€” zero disengagements / interventions in the first 30 minutes despite incredibly dense traffic & pedestrians during St. Patrick's Day festivities. Extremely impressive. A couple of my favorite moments are at 5:17 and 7:00. Overall, v12.3 seems like a major step forward and I'm excited to keep testing. It feels smoother, much more natural, and more capable of creative decision making in challenging scenarios. My camera overheated, but I tested for a total of about an hour and a half in this same environment. The most impressive moments were lost, unfortunately, but it flawlessly handled back-to-back extremely complex intersections, which were all-way stop signs with 6 lanes of traffic and 50+ pedestrians. Pretty mind-blowing. Throughout the whole drive, there were 3 disengagements and no other interventions: 1) Tried to turn one block too early, the wrong way on a one-way. Not great, but not a show stopper long-term, IMO. 2) At an intersection, shortly after the light changed to green, there was a fire truck with its sirens on approaching on the cross street. Visibility was obscured by a large SUV in the lane to the left of the vehicle. I head the sirens getting louder and the SUV stopped proceeding, so I had to brake. Without audio input, I don't know how FSD could ever properly react to this situation due to the occluded vision. 3) In heavy traffic, FSD moved out of the lane we needed to be in. It tried to get back over, but there was not enough time or space, so it proceeding to a new route. This led to a planned u-turn in extremely heavy traffic. I got a notice saying FSD could not complete the maneuver, and FSD kept going to the next intersection, which led to the same plan. It attempted to start the maneuver, but I had to take over. The video shows how crazy Chicago was yesterday, St. Patrick's Day celebrations are huge here. If you are not used to this environment, many drivers would struggle. FSD handled things calmly and confidently, with only one instance that I recall annoying any other drivers due to being too slow or cautious, something that would happen a lot on previous versions of FSD. FSD v12.3 seems like a major step forward from my early testing, and hopefully it provides the proper foundation to accelerate the rate of progress significantly. It's not perfect, and it's still going to take time, but I am excited. Congrats to the Tesla team.

To review the preparations for the Gangasagar Mela, I travelled to Sagar Island today. The dawn of a new year has brought with it a historic moment for both the pilgrims of Gangasagar and the people of the island. Ending a long wait, the Gangasagar Bridge, being built at a cost of โ‚น1,670 crore to connect Kakdwip and Gangasagar, had its foundation stone laid today. This 4-lane, 4.75-km-long modern bridge, spanning the Muri Ganga River, will make connectivity faster, safer, and more reliable. It will also significantly improve the transport of agricultural and industrial goods, while ensuring smoother travel for pilgrims, tourists, and residents alike. The construction agreement was formally exchanged today between the concerned department and the implementing authority. I also inaugurated โ€˜Sagarkanyaโ€™, a newly built 100-bed dormitory, constructed at a cost of โ‚น8.8 crore, to provide better accommodation for the thousands of pilgrims who visit this sacred land. The refurbished tourism complex has been renamed โ€˜Gangannaโ€™. Additionally, I handed over the benefits of GoWB schemes and services to 2.26 lakh people. In South 24 Parganas, I inaugurated 96 projects worth โ‚น394.93 crore, and laid foundation stones for 70 new projects, including the Gangasagar Bridge, with a total investment of โ‚น1,929.37 crore. I also remotely laid the foundation for a 3.4-km high-drainage canal system at a cost of โ‚น528.93 lakh, connecting Siddheshwari Kali Mandir to the Bidyadhari canal junction in Ashokenagar-Kalyangarh, North 24 Parganas. This project will benefit nearly 50,000 people, prevent waterlogging, protect farmlands from flooding, and help curb the spread of vector-borne diseases. Today, I also unveiled the Gangasagar Mela 2026 booklet, detailing the comprehensive arrangements made by our government. For public welfare, we have fully waived the pilgrimage tax. Between 9 and 17 January, the state has arranged โ‚น5 lakh insurance coverage for pilgrims, residents, journalists, officials, or any other victims. Since the Maa-Maati-Manush Sarkaar assumed responsibility, uninterrupted electricity has reached even the most remote parts of the island. We have built three helipads, multiple jetties, formed the Sundarban Police District, established the Gangasagar Coastal Police Station and Kakdwip Harwood Point Coastal Police Station, and carried out the beautification and upgradation of the Kapil Muni Ashram, preserving both its sanctity and heritage. I was deeply touched by the warm welcome extended by the mothers and sisters of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, through the sacred sound of conch shells and heartfelt ululation. Their selfless dedication to humanitarian service, especially in times of crisis, continues to inspire me. It was a privilege to personally distribute blankets among local residents, reaffirming that service to humanity remains our highest duty. I also offered prayers at the Kapil Muni Ashram, pledging myself to the welfare and dignity of our people. We have documented 15 years of development through Unnayaner Panchali. Yet, certain divisive Jono-Birodhi forces, driven only by misinformation and malice, continue to spread false narratives, even targeting the fundamental democratic right of citizens to vote. The elderly, the ailing, and the vulnerable have been victims of this conspiracy that has already claimed precious lives. Bengal will respond to these Bangla-Birodhi forces through the strength of democracy, unity, and collective resolve. May the bonds of peace, harmony, unity, and fraternity remain unbroken. May every life be uplifted by the grace of purity, faith, and compassion. The Gangasagar Mela has bound me with an invisible yet unshakeable thread of love. Sagar Island will forever hold a cherished and irreplaceable place in my heart.

YOU DONT LEARN FROM SUCCESS failure, on the other hand, is a great teacher (if you let it work its magic) we caught a doozy this week, with about 60 hrs of rework (Iโ€™ve had worse but itโ€™s been a minute) A perfect storm of: -unreasonable customer -rushed precon and site prep -poor site supervision (on me) -poor training (on me) -poor outfitting (on me) -less than stellar execution -accident on site (spilled paint on concrete) Things that went well (this is key) -responsiveness and communication w customer -effort and attitude of site team Spent last night with the PM doing an AAR (post mortem) and now Iโ€™m in the shop on Saturday working on the team presentation and training, and Iโ€™ll be making at least 1 special Home Depot trip to add to our toolkit Iโ€™ll post the specifics on the training later, but these are the big organizational learnings that Iโ€™ll make sure we all eat/breathe/live starting next week: 1. Will never ever get upset about mistakes. Construction is messy and the only thing we know about each project is that something will go wrong - youโ€™ll never be punished for doing a piece of craft wrong. Eg if you spill paint, Iโ€™m not going make you work for free for the 2 hours of cleanup 2. Site setup and cleanliness really matters; if we are going to be somewhere for more than a day - we need a trash can, work table, folding scaffolding for shelves, at minimum 3. The right tool matters more than effort. If you show up and you only brought sandpaper (forgot the electric sander), donโ€™t spend 8 hours sanding by hand - take the time to go to the shop and get the right tool 4. Even if we have done a scope many many times, donโ€™t assume that means everybody knows what to do. Review the project plan in detail beforehand 5. If things donโ€™t seem to be going well (going slow; poorly; upset customer etc), stop and huddle quickly with your team and leaders to problem solve. Our entire organization is designed around making you successful, we are here to help What did I miss? What do you guys include in your AARs?
