We stopped by Mike’s Gun Shop in Jackson County this week and had a great conversation with Mike — a lifelong resident of Oak Hill, a small business owner, and a union member. As governor, I’ll respect the Second Amendment and always encourage responsible recreation — traditions that are important to so many Ohio families. And I’ll support common-sense gun safety that helps protect our children and our communities. We can respect responsible gun ownership while working together to keep Ohioans safe.

Hardworking Ohioans deserve to know where their tax dollars are going. Ohio is sending billions of taxpayer dollars to private schools without requiring the same level of financial transparency and public accountability we expect from our public schools. If a school accepts public dollars, Ohioans deserve to know how those dollars are being spent and what they're getting in return. It’s time for stronger oversight, real transparency, and accountability for every taxpayer dollar.

It’s shameful that Vivek Ramaswamy continues to tout Max Miller’s endorsement after such deeply disturbing allegations have surfaced. Unfortunately this is just the latest example of my opponent not taking abuse seriously. He has mocked the abuse I faced as a child, taken $100,000 from Epstein associates, and even named his Elon Musk-funded outside group “Victors, not Victims.” This is not someone who should be our governor.
