Yesterday's GLOF Shocked the world. Reminding us all of the unmitigated power and indifference of nature. Captured by the survivors on film was and extremely rare opportunity to witness a "Glacier Erratic" on the move. This massive boulder pushed by the forces will soon rest in place isolated and alone. We have mostly only seen the echoes of this left in place from the end of the last glacial maximum some 20K years ago. They often sit atop other smaller rocks giving the impression of being placed by man and being confused with Dolmens. But now we have the visual record to process them with clarity.

🚨New Find! At Karahan Tepe statue of a human figure proudly sitting on a leopards back has been found sealed inside a structure. Public buildings. Dwellings. Stelae. Scores of human and animal statues. The site keeps revealing that these ancient people possessed an architectural and artistic sensibility we are only beginning to fully grasp.

If we saw “Lost Ancient Technology” would we recognize it? This object was pulled from the seabed at the sunken port of Thonis-Heracleion in Egypt. Noted as a scepter the relic displays multiple features of some kind of drive shaft. I could think of multiple mechanical functions for this object.

A Lot of People think this Indian Temple Was Created with Lasers! Kailasa Temple, at the Ellora Caves in India. Carved from basalt bedrock. Hundreds of thousands of tons of stone removed for Shiva shrines, pillars and carvings. I have an idea how this Ancient rock-cut masterpiece was made. It’s not lasers though!

Incredible new study at Washington State University found Egyptian Blue emits near‑infrared light 🤯 This is a fragment of ancient Egyptian Blue paint. When researchers hit it with visible light (green, around 530–550 nm), the pigment absorbed it and re‑emitted near‑infrared light at 910–940 nm. Our eyes can’t see NIR, but a modified camera can, so the pigment looks like it’s glowing. Modern NIR‑emitting pigments are used today in anti‑counterfeiting, biomedical imaging, cooling tech, and more. In the hot sun of the Egyptian desert, if a person wore clothing painted in Egyptian Blue, they would stay cooler by radiating some of the absorbed sunlight back out as near‑infrared instead of trapping it as heat.

Tikal looks almost barren from the sky just a few stone giants rising above a green ocean. But the canopy is a liar. Beneath those leaves sits a buried geometry: causeways, reservoirs, citadels, whole districts smothered under centuries of roots. When LiDAR swept the jungle it flinched. The beam stripped the forest down to its bones and showed the truth: Tikal wasn’t just a city. It was a continent of architecture, hiding in plain sight. And what if I told you Tikal is the devil we know, but there are tens of thousands more?

At the ruins of the ancient Quarries of Cusa also known as Cave di Cusa, in Italy, we see limestone cylindrical columns ranging from over 6 feet in diameter to 12 feet! Modern eyes would instantly relate how they were cut to heavy machinery. But they obviously didn’t have such equipment, so how did they do it!? 🤔

Lasers to carve Ancient Reliefs? There’s a belief by some that intricate carvings could only be made by laser engraving. From our modern technological lens we’ve lost touch with human capabilities & craftsmanship. Technology is a blessing & a curse for it stunts human growth and quite probably regresses it. Or they had lasers somehow?

You might believe mysterious castles only exist in the movies, thats until you hear about Engüzek Castle, in Türkiye. There are no inscriptions or clear historical records on the site, so its exact origin remains unknown.

Sometimes ruins speak louder than the monuments ever did. From the air, Nemrut rises like a beacon. a man‑made summit built to touch the sky. Here we see the scale of the builder’s ambitions. On the ground, before the fallen heads, the aura of over 2,000 years still speaks. The gods may have crumbled, but their majesty survived the collapse.

The Dogon tribe of West Africa drew their universe in the sand. Fleeting diagrams erased by wind, remembered by oral tradition for generations. According to the Sirius Mystery Hypothesis they described a small invisible companion to Sirius called “po tolo” (Sirius B) an “invisible star” , to modern humans, before technology could confirm it. If a culture mapped an unseen star without telescopes, and without satellites, it’s hard to imagine how they knew that.
