Holthaus opened the conversation by expressing his belief that God has raised Hanson up as a voice of reason during these times, noting that Hanson is one of the few prominent figures who has not “went crazy.” Hanson shared his personal knowledge of several well-known conservative voices and his shock at their apparent transformation.
