This is an oldie but ever so applicable with summer coming to a close in the northern hemisphere. That rough around the greens is healthy and happy. Try this if you are less than 2 feet into the rough. It’s a great escape shot to have in your arsenal! Ball behind trail foot / Putter delofted to project the ball INTO the turf / You’ll typically hit this shot softer than you might anticipate / Ball will pop up and over the rough before landing in the fringe and trickling up to the hole. Give it a go!

You’re going to want to take your time with this one! Jose Maria and @brettrumford - two of the best. See anything they both do?

If you happen to be struggling with thin shots, and you never take even the slightest divot, then this is a feel for you! Keep the lead side low for as long as possible in the downswing.

Any thoughts on what positive influence that trail foot drag might have on the everyday golfer?

Super cool phantom camera footage of Viktor Hovland hitting a short pitch shot. This was shared by Paul Wood & Erik Henrikson from PING GOLF at #CoachCamp today. Very interesting to see how quickly he gets that sole out of there.

Here is my friend, the great Stan Utley demonstrating a 15 yard pitch. One of the many things I like that Stan shares is to let impact “interrupt” the follow through! He demonstrates that beautifully here. So much to like in this action
