Growing up, I loved "This is Your Life", especially when those under the spotlight were war heroes. Major General John Frost was the focus of the 6 April 1977 episode. He had led an operation to capture German radar equipment at Bruneval in 42, then saw action in North Africa, Sicily and, of course, Arnhem where his battalion held out against all odds until they were overwhelmed. "This is Your Life" had many war hero guests, including SOE and Resistance members, ace pilots etc. It was a different time where our national heroes were lauded - I miss it.

Imagine getting pulled over by a helicopter 😂 in Kruger National Park just next to Tshokwane Picnic Site! Update : As per South African National Parks Thank you for the footage. We can confirm that this was a speeding driver spotted by SANParks personnel while busy with the annual conservation census in the park. The driver was cautioned and given a speeding fine. They also received a fine for driving on a national road without car registration plates. Brilliant work Guys❤️

Isaac Satlat, Nigerian National who was an Uber driver in Pretoria, South Africa was strangled to death by two assailants on Wednesday 11th of February 2026. One of the suspects who is a female has been apprehended by the SA Police Service 🇿🇦 and to be arranged in court ASAP. My condolences to the family of the deceased.
