I ran into the person from the LGBT-acceptance themed clip that I quoted below, and they told me they saw my quote and really appreciated it. Then they asked me for a hug, but felt guilty and weird for asking, which was really sad to hear. I get all kinds of people asking me for hugs each night, including plenty of straight guys who just want a moment of brotherly love. Everyone deserves a hug, and everyone deserves love. No one should ever feel weird or ashamed for that.

Connor Murphy taught me one of the most important lessons of my life. He conquered the material world extremely early. He became rich, famous, physically exceptional, desired by women, everything we are told will finally make us feel complete. But he still felt that something was missing. That does not mean looks, money, status, and success are worthless. They can massively improve your life. But they cannot rescue you from an unstable, neglected, or unhealthy mind. Connor became obsessed with finding something deeper through spirituality, psychedelics, and self-exploration. Tragically, he also struggled with bipolar disorder, and he ultimately died during what appeared to be a severe manic episode. His life taught me that real self-improvement cannot stop at the body, money, or social status. You can conquer your external reality and still lose the battle internally. The final level of looksmaxxing, or any form of optimization, is learning how to protect, understand, and master your own mind.
