Train full of West Ham. There were songs about Luděk Mikloško, who died this week. I interviewed him a couple of years ago about ‘95. Couldn’t have been nicer. RIP. Andy Cole didn’t want to listen to the interview.

The new United We Stand is printing. Smell that ink, feel that gloss. Bit relieved as Baleba's on the cover. Didn't want that to fall through. Out v Ipswich. Subscribe by midnight (Tues) and we’ll post the next 10 mags (also a Direct D option in UK)

Honestly can’t believe what has happened at Bodø Glimt since I visited in 2019 (and they let me in the dressing room with a bee) One of the great stories of modern football. No benefactor, snow, warmth. Kjetil Knutsen. The wonderful Berg family. Patrick (MU fan) MOM v Lazio

This was Lyon last week. Packed end well before kick-off. Noise throughout. Got right behind their team. And they’ll do the same tonight because they, too, are set on Bilbao. From St Etienne to Marseille or PSG, French clubs have been among the loudest at Old Trafford.
