In the original, Toph’s parents first saw her true earthbending skills during the Earth Rumble tournament. The live action cut that scene, so they moved that reveal to the metalbending scene instead. The point is still the same her parent finally witnesses Toph’s true potential. They only changed when it happened.

It’s funny how many of you don’t understand Zuko’s character, or It’s been so long since you watched ATLA that you’ve forgotten certain scenes. It doesn’t matter who Zuko stole from he still stole in the animation. He took an ostrich horse from people who had helped him. So why are we pretending he never stole? Before his redemption, Zuko wasn’t a good person. He was selfish, angry, and often didn’t care who got hurt. That’s the whole point of his character arc. Stop acting like pre redemption Zuko was always a good guy he wasn’t.

It’s funny how some of you clearly didn’t watch #NATLA #ATLA and #TLOK. There are so many details that connect across the series. Aang wasn’t even a master earthbender at that point where he sensed someone behind him. In TLOK we also saw that airbenders have heightened awareness and can naturally sense danger, especially when they’re bald. So Aang sensing a spy behind him had nothing to do with seismic sense it was simply a natural airbender ability.

I love how, in #NATLA nobody gave a fuck who Aang was unlike the animated series, people were always excited to meet the Avatar. They’d surrender or treat him like he was some kind of god. After all, this is the same Avatar who disappeared for 100 years, and his absence was one of the reasons the war lasted so long. so yeah, I actually like that change a lot.

Random Avatar Korra fact: Did you know Korra was the only Avatar to ever fight a man who could kill a spirit? Normally spirits cannot be killed they can only be trapped. Yet Unalaq mastered dark water bending to the point where he destroyed Raava herself He ended the entire Avatar cycle in one move and Korra still got up and defeated him after all of that. Greatest feat in the entire Avatar universe, and please don’t bring up Kyoshi splitting an island. We’ve already seen Aang do crazy things with tornadoes before. So yeah, Korra pulling the metal poison out of her own body is still the most insane feat in the entire Avatar universe.
