Despite being a heavily advertised feature in Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles for the PSP, you needed to jump through quite a few hoops to play Symphony of the Night. It's hidden in an alternate stage 3 after dropping into a pit in 2 and going through the sewers. #Gaming

The ending in the 16-bit Lion King is quite the process to achieve. Scar has at least 200 hit points, which is reduced by one with each of Simba's mighty slaps. This is on top of chasing him over Pride Rock with random fire everywhere. Can you feel the love tonight? #RetroGaming

There are two unique enemies in Shade Man's stage of Mega Man 7. You actually fight them throughout the entire castle, this being the only place where you can find them outside in moonlight. When their gaze catches the moon, these knights turn into fierce werewolves #RetroGaming

The move to 3D with Bomberman 64 was met with mixed criticism. The games were well known for chaotic mutli-player battles This was a chill, single-player game focused on puzzles and exploration. It plays quite well, and the soundtrack is one of the best on the system #RetroGaming

I learned on here some days ago that Freeze Man is the only Robot Master in Mega Man 7 to wait for you to make the first move. He'll goad you to move or attack. That reminded me if you hit him with his own weapon later on, it will heal him and he'll let out a taunt. #RetroGaming

I'm not sure if they ever intended you to use the Rush Jet against HannyaNED in Mega Man 7, but it's how I always liked to handle this fight. It feels incredibly epic to be flying ahead of him, constantly adjusting your height and timing your shots to hit his eyes. #RetroGaming

One of the most stressful missions in Starfox 64 is Macbeth. Your objective is to use the Landmaster tank to stop the supply train. Halfway through, Peppy tells you to shoot the 8 switches. Slippy and Falco's objective is to block your shots with their own arwings. #RetroGaming

There are a lot of incredible tracks in Symphony of the Night. Out of all of them, "Lost Painting" is the one that has stuck with me the most. It's such a perfect fit for the Castlevania atmosphere. It's quite a shame it doesn't play until you're deep into the game. #RetroGaming

The PSP was an incredible system for Mega Man fans. Powered Up is a re-imagining of the original game in the series that's full of charm and features. If you beat a Robot Master using only the Mega Buster, they become a playable character with their own unique moves #RetroGaming

While all the other Robot Masters in Mega Man 7 take damage from the Rocket Buster, Burst Man doesn't. He also sticks one of his bombs to the returning fist, damaging you in the process. I wonder why they chose him out of the roster to be immune to the Super Adapter #RetroGaming

Choosing the Complete Works version of Mega Man 4 to play through again was definitely the right choice. The quick swap alone makes it worth it! I'm absolutely going to be giving all the games a run here. I wish 1-3 had everything from the rest, but they seem okay. #RetroGaming

The Museum halfway through Mega Man 7 is such a fun bastion of fan service. You're instantly greeted with a SNES rendition of Snake Man's iconic opening stinger that transitions directly into the Guts Man melody. The 16-bit bosses on display are absolute eye candy. #RetroGaming

Everyone seems to have fond memories of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire for the N64. I sure do, I love it. It also gets incredibly difficult thanks to the on foot camera and platforming. They must have known they had a masterpiece with the Hoth level to start the game with it. Opening the game with a flight section in the era of X-Wing and TIE Fighter only to transition to Dash Rendar on foot with a blaster was brilliant. This wasn't just an arcade flyer, it wasn't just an action game. This is Shadows of the Empire baby. #StarWarsDay
