I’ve finished the first bonus stage of “Wanna Play a Game?” from SMWRR: First Blood 🎮🌴 This bonus has two sections: 🌲 Tall Tree section Features a moving saw, Minkeys 🐒, and Nids 🐦. I’ll probably add the woodpeckers here too. 🌿 Treetop section (DKC1 style) Includes Nids again, plus Fire Snakes 🔥🐍 and Neckys 🐦⬛. The main gimmick revolves around the Saw, Minkeys, and Nids ⚙️🪵 Here’s the twist: Nids break barrels… but to defeat the Zingers 🐝 you need those barrels. So you must dodge the Nids while carrying one 😈💥 It’s a very hard bonus stage, but also very fun, intense, and full of pure adrenaline 💀🔥 #smw #smwhacking #dkc #snes #romhacking

Some progress on the second phase of Secret Bowser, the real final boss in SMW Rediscover (by Yoshi Master). I’ve finished all the attacks and the ending for the boss! It can now be damaged — and there’s a fun secret way to hurt it if you throw a Mecha-Koopa at the right moment. 😄 New attacks include: * Giant Laser (Clown Car phase) * Eruption * Constant Fire * Bowling Ball Punch: If you throw a Mecha-Koopa before the bowling ball is launched, the ball gets hit in a funny animation — dealing 4× more damage! * Fake Up Punch Can you spot the reference in the ending cutscene? 👀 Commissions are open — feel free to DM me, and check the pinned post! #smw #smwhacking #snes #romhacking

I've recreated DKC3 Saw gimmick from Ripsaw Rage, it was a very tricky gimmick but i was able to replicate it without lose any quality, i think one of the trickiest thing is a hdma to change tilemap address and simulate 4 layers at the same time.

I’ve finished the first half of “Light My Fire”, a level for Super Mario World Random Revolution: First Blood! 🔥 The main gimmick is lights turning on and off, inspired by Blackout Basement from DKC. I’ve finished a new commission: a Super Lemmy boss for Rediscover Super Mario World (by Yoshi Master 8 )! 🐢✨ This version comes packed with many new attacks 💥: * Throws magic ✨ * Throws lava balls 🌋 * Throws fireballs 🔥 * Spawns bouncing Podoboos 🔥 * Teleports through pipes 🚪 and uses dummies to confuse the player 🎭 * Uses a bouncing ball that launches the player into the air ⚾⬆️ * Ultimate attack: raises the lava level 🌊🔥, forcing you to climb up to the turn blocks at the top to survive 🧗♂️ This one was especially challenging to make due to all the custom mechanics involved, but the result was totally worth it 💪 Commissions are open! 📩 Check the pinned post if you’re interested. #smw #smwhacking #romhacking #snes

I implemented rope mechanics in my SMW hack! Both vertical and horizontal ropes are working. Still a WIP, but I'm happy with how it's turning out. Also thanks to 𝓓𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙧𝙤𝓷🦀 who helped me with rope climbing animations. #smw #smwhacking #snes

We ripped DKC 1 forest, this is just a test level to check the graphics, we added those branches in the bottom that were removed content in the original DKC, in the future this level will have swinging ropes, neckys and mini neckys. #smw #smwhack #dkc

I’ve finished the Super Wendy boss for Rediscover Super Mario World (by @YoshiMaster8)! 👑🐢 This version features several dangerous attacks ⚔️: * Throws magic ✨ * Throws fire 🔥 * Turns into a spiky shell and charges at the player 🦔 * Spawns bouncing magic rings that stay for the whole fight (up to 3) ⭕️ * Spawns castle spikes like in Wendy’s original castle 🏰 * Throws homing kisses that stun the player 💋😵 A lot of the core systems were reused from the Super Lemmy boss, which helped speed up development quite a bit ⚙️🚀 #smw #smwhacking #romhacking #snes

Making progress on this level! It features the Light On/Off mechanic from DKC1's Fear Factory 🌑💡 I also added two custom enemies: * A custom SMB3 Fire Snake with multiple variants (check my YouTube for a demo!) * A numbered platform: gray falls after a set number of jumps (similar to some platforms in yoshi island), orange after a few seconds (like carrot platforms in Super Mario World). #smw #smwhacking #snes #dkc
