Introducing Lovable for more general tasks. Lovable has always been for building apps. Today it also becomes your data scientist, your business analyst, your deck builder, and your marketing assistant. This is a big step toward what Lovable is becoming: a general-purpose co-founder that can do anything. See examples below.

Today we're making Lovable apps discoverable by search engines and AI, including the ability to chat with Semrush SEO data in Lovable. We’re doing this to give people using Lovable an unfair advantage when starting a business. Because building is just the beginning, and getting users to your app should be as easy as creating it.

The below video is real. No cuts. Founders + CTOs use this, and comapre it to Cursor + Claude Artifacts but prefer it because: - you can edit the code in your favorite IDE (two-way github sync) - automatically knows what npm package to use - picks up errors and fixes them - fast (built with rust)

👶🤖 Introducing `gpt-engineer` ▸ One prompt generates a codebase ▸ Asks clarifying questions ▸ Generates technical spec ▸ Writes all necessary code ▸ Easy to add your own reasoning steps, modify, and experiment ▸ open source: ▸ Lets you finish a coding project in minutes. swyx scooped me on releasing first ❤️ – similarities to smol but many new innovations, check README. Next, make it bootstrap. Which means: A "gpt engineer" prompt should generate all functionality of the gpt-engineer repo itself.

Four guys built and sold a company with Lovable in 20 hours, here’s how: 1. Raised €6k+ in sponsorships from OpenAI, V7, Cluely and Recurse ML 2. Built LeadFlare, an AI agent that sources and contacts high-value leads. 3. Identified Revel as a buyer and tailored the product to them. 4. Incorporated the company in the UK. 5. Revel’s team literally flew to Stockholm to meet them. 6. Signed the deal: acquired for $20,000 same day. This is probably the coolest thing I've seen done with Lovable so far.

GPT Engineer app (<- different from CLI) lets backend devs - connect to frontend codebase (on github) - add openapi of the backend - ask for complex frontned changes, get instant previews, which use github codebase as single source of truth example shared in our discord by Kristian Kyvik
